I've never seen an elite ("named") NPC spawn in the dronelands.
Is this a bug or working as intended. |

A bug? There are no 'elite' ones 
What did you expect? Officer drones?...
Isn't the rediculous amount of minerals you can obtain enough?

With mineral prices dropping like mad drone regions aren't as profitable as they should be, also drones aren't very challanging.... having things spiced up a bit would be nice.

Faction drone spawns that i have seen have been "Sentient ......" bs sized ship had no alloy and about 20 mil in tech 2 salvage.
2 spawns in over 80 scanner encoutner plexes. The alloys dropping have been about 17-30% less than normal belt rats, is that intended?

That's consistent with what I've heard from another plex hunters - the 'sentient' drones are very very rare, and their benefit is offset by the overall much lower drop rate on the normal NPCs in there. Perhaps 'sentient'/commander/elite have got the wrong spawn % rate on it? Bug?
Why not a few elites in the ABs once in a while too? Is their absence intended or a bug? |

I think there should be "commander" type drones that drop faction drones, where faction drones are 20% better than tech 2
That would add nice rewards

Alloys: Encounters use mission-type rats, not belt ones. So reduced alloys for drones and reduced bounty for pirate NPCs.
- Drone commanders spawns: yes, Sentient. But your 20mil are way off. I've had up to 8 cap consoles (the t2 melted cap thingies) from one.

melted cap goes for around 500k, so for rig parts thats rather good
the cap consoles however go for far more and are worth quite a bit (20+ mil last i checked)

Be nice to know if we are supposed to have some of them in the asteroid belts, or not, and whether the spawn rate within Plexes is right (or too low). |
