Im sorry for you if you can't use the eve search and find all the posts etc about this subject, there have been so many and its not been implemented .. does that not hint it? Just learn how to work your skill times, not really that hard to do.
On another note if they do implement it , all the older players do they get the skill points back that they have lost due to skills finishing and not being able to change it to a new one for a few hours.. ? I dont think so.

I'm against a skill queue - it's bad enough with macro miners and macro missioning - the last thing we want is character farming.
With good time management and tools like EVEMon and others, there is no need for this feature imho. _________________________________________________________ Senior EVEMon developer. Try EVEMon today! It's delicious!

I think we should take out the autopilot!
Being able to queue systems in any order you wish, pressing a button and then going afk is simply abusive. Everybody should live in the stoneage an manually jump 1 system at a time.

If you have not got time to be online the whole day the best timemanagment will not help... If you can queue a lets say 2 hour skill to a long skill you never have to worry about these short skills. And when I am online I dont want to be waiting to change a skill in the middle of a lvl4 mission or whatever....
ONE skill queue would be userfriendly and would NOT help char-farming. NOTHING is done against macro-miners etc but having NO skill-queue ONLY hurts normal players.

CCP has said they are not big on the idea of skill queueing is because they actually want people to log into the game.
Oh, and if a skill finishes in the middle of a L4 finish the stage and swap the skill. I don't know of a L4 that takes more than about 15 minutes to clear a stage or atleast get it to a manageable level to swap a skill. Hell, target a BS, turn on your repper then take 30 seconds to swap the skill. If you setup can't spare 30 seconds then you need more help than just skill queueing.
Also, if you are able to spend enough time running a L4 mission start the 2 hour skill when you get online. If it's not done when you need to log then swap to a skill that will train until you can return. Then finish the short skill. As everyone has said, it's a universal problem, but it's really not that hard to deal with.
Oh, and here's some help -> Download Eve-Mon! Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 bytes, ty - Cortes

That reminds me - I must d/l that EvEmon patch that takes unscheduled server outages and extended downtimes in to account.
You wouldn't have the link handy would you...?

As you can see, this has been proposed as far back as 2003. It's not in game yet and it's not likely to be in game ever. Stop beating a dead horse KTHXBAI.
Please get your facts straight before out and out slagging someone off for a request.
It may make it in, if they can find a way to prevent abuse of it. As plenty of people have pointed out, the apparant intention is to make it only apply to one or two skills, not a whole raft of them.
Originally by: Patch Notes / The Drawing Board Skill Training - Queue or Dual training
This could enable players to either queue skills so that when one level finishes the next level in that skill starts training automatically, or another preset skill starts training automatically. Dual training would enable you to have a primary long-term skill in training with a secondary short-term skill sharing the training time. After a level in the secondary skill has trained, the primary skill trains at full speed again.

Edited by: Knier on 28/07/2007 21:44:01 id be for it if it were limited, ie you can queue up the next skill only, since i usually end up with a skill that finishes at like 5am, but any more that that would encourage character farming. ----------------- Eve Skill Monitor |

you cant set a skill queue without playing anyway, are you forgetting you still have to buy the skillbooks and meet the minimum requirements? you cant buy all the skillboks to max out say a bs as soon as you start, so why not, even if it is one or two skills queued, you skill have to log in to make money to pay for the next skills, or destroy your sec, or whatever
being as i have a full time job, often with a lot of overtime, this would be useful so i can still work, and when i get some free time, ill have one or two skills done when i get some time to play...
