as there are only 3 setup threads for the nighthawk, and to be fair, there all pretty lacking. im just looking for a decent tank vs gank setup for small gang pvp in low sec. so far my setup needs improvment, it is as follows;
6 x Heavy Missile Launcher
1 x T2 Med Sheild Booster
1 x Sheild Boost Amplifier
1 x T2 EM Resistance Amp
2 x T2 Invul's
3/2 x PDU
2/3 x BCU
and atm 1 x EM res amp Rig.
help! so far in missions, my tank hold, but not as well as id like, and my cap drains like a tap.

With only a medium shield booster and weapons that don't need cap in a command ship i'm surprised your cap doesn't hold, how are your cap skills?. Most ppl use a larger booster.
If you can afford it i'd add 2 cap rigs to it which should sort the cap issue out.
Also most NH mission running setup use a passive tank i believe do cap isn't an issue. I'm sure a more experienced passive shield tanker can suggest setups.

For a Passive fit on a NH use 2 T2 Extenders, Invul and Photon Hard + Disruptor
Lows Split between BCUs and SPRs. Add a PDU if your cap cant sustain it foreva

Also, if you want to run a gang mod, go active. Passive +gang mod=dead cap.
And come to think of it the NH DOES have quite a big hold for 800s.... (it's pretty gosh darn big!)

ok, my new setup is
6 x HML II
2 x LSE II
1 x EM Hardner
1 x Invul
1 x Sheild Recharger
1 x BCU
1 x PDU
3 x SPR
sheilds are at 12.5k and recharge at 375. helf of a cruise raven with 5 heavy drones easy. jus need to T2 2 last mods and it'll be uber for gang pvp.
