Behind every promise of big and better things you give as buggy patch after buggy patch that in most cases removes benefits rather than introducing them.
You even have a special Sticky devoted to 'Patch Bugs' - set up uuuuur when "oh yeah - the same day the patch comes out" - I like that - that shows forward thinking
and you know what - we forgive ya it all - OH we pi*s n moan and rant and rage wars over it all, but we still forgive ya 'lil bug here and lil bug there - hell I've lived with em since the start. I've even got my own pet one that loves nothing more than to run around the hanger chirping.
Thing is - even though I think I'll have my pet bug for years to come, and don't misunderstand - I love it, but would it be possible for the next patch you put on to possibly have some of the 'other' things you have been promising to .
Personally - I've played this game on 2 accounts from the day it came out and i truly love it. However, in the thousands of hours I've put in - I have quite liteally played every role,guise or mentally warped way I could conceve. I mined a planet, setup a corp, played in the forums and met some great people in and out of the game. But I have to say - I'm finding that I come on more for the chats than the game just lately.
Many a mission bonus lost cos yr yakkin about life or the latest new alliance.
I know I don't speak for all of us, but I'm sure there's many 'veterans' out there who feel the same, I know many of the people I speak to do, and we've all been here since the start.
Even the thought of Tech 2 has wained - after all it basically boils down to what we already have but with bigger specs right.
How difficult can it be to bring in refinery gear and stations, hell even say a 10 hop jumpdrive would be something.
Please understand I don't mean any of this disrespectfully, I appreciate you guys are doing your thing, but I'm just getting bored of late.
So I'm asking a simple favour - give those of us that have supported and make Eve what it is right now, something really fun to play with...

Give them a chance to fix things. The patch came out today. This happenes everytime. You can test and test and when 4000+ people hit it, things will go wrong.
Give them some time to fix the server side stuff, they will. They have in previous patches and I'm sure they will with this patch.

Just when I think that the palyer base has reached a certain point of maturity, I see things like this. I am dissapointed in the poster.....

Why are you disapointed? In alot of ways he's right.
We have been promised so many things and all i see is them taking away. None the less, still just a game and CCP is doing what they can with it.
Hope we see something possitive in the future.

Hey you know what... some people like their dollar to be heard. Some people eat Ramen Noodles so they can play this game. Some people think others are idiots when they ask why promises are not kept and delayed again. I am a developer and I understand these unexpected changes but I learned, way before I got clients of my own, to not give out promises and deadlines when your are the ones who make the deadline. In other words... you can either make the noose around your neck tight or loose; so choose one. CCP likes it tight obviously. And there is nothing wrong with people getting mad for it. This game takes way to long to play and costs a lot of money to play it, subscription and money that "could" be earned elsewhere with the time... Maybe if we all rant and rave and fill up the Hard Drive with protest they will stop fixing or changing the GUI and ship speeds and fix what really needs to be fixed.

What is wrong with people all they can do is complain. I so far have not found a bug that has put me off this patch. If you post on day 1 of the patch and say you hate it then you have real issues

I have, When i change between chat channels Then one of them doesn't scroll down to the last posted item, ever. Happens all the time too, Driving me crazy already, and i've only been on for an hour or two today -.-
