This latest patch was a miracle, like Castor.
Besides the reboots, everything is either ok -
or even better.
Now.. all we need now is a game-engine that
can handle fleet-battles the way its suppose
to be  .

If this entire patch was just the fact that the cloaking and spawn-at-the-wrong-place bug were fixed ... it would be well worth it.
So I'm happy. Now I'm just praying for some stability and some of the UI fixes and I'll be a happy camper.
O ya and can someone do my homework for me

I also like whatever they did to the scanner; it's really fast. What previously took anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes to scan now takes a couple of seconds. Also if you were scanning before, ships could warp in and shoot at you without your client registering it, cause it was "busy" scanning. Kind of odd programming there, but indeed no longer an issue.

I must agree too, the interface looks better, and things work faster, but the new Frig's on market, when can we buy them...oh and same with the skills!

yeah...by the time i logged on tonight the bugs were all fixed and the patch is pretty great, even if they wussed out and didnt nerf m-12s :)
i dont like the new way of displaying people in your address book in chat channels, though. the little box intereferes with names and just looks haphazard.
the supersized grids are fantastic.

I mean c'mon, just think about it. What would make more sense then the 3 most hated alliances teaming up to lay waste to the people they all hate anyways? CA is already allied with PA, and TPS lies between the two alliances. Natural allies to be sure. But it's not just that, all but PA (and even some of them) have adopted a "stfu and die, or come and fight us, we don't give a **** what you think or do" philosophy, as well as a PvP Kill everyone not friend kind of mentality. These are the people in eve that kill or convert, the ones dedicated to the death of others, because history, circumstance, and the rest of eve have driven then to do so (except TPS, who are just cool ass pirates ). |

Yes it adds a lot of good stuff, however I am going to quit, my character was meant to be trader/ceo with social skills and there is no room for her in your world.
I don't really want to start another with high perception/memory/intelligence to play the same game than you, you have a lot of monthes ahead in time that I won't ever be able to catch up, my only hope was to have the charisma side developped, and my illusions have been ended with this patch...

i really like it the allies box is a god send
the grids are ace now, and seems no lag +my places is a very nice touch
overall i think its a huge step forward well done CCP

I feel the same way as you do about my 9 month old science/research character. Never thought I'd have to do all these ******* agent missions to get anywhere. Game is only fun for a certain kind of player, and it looks like CCP is gonna keep it that way...

Look, I just finished PE 4 yesterday, for PE 5 it would take me 28 days. Same problem for battleship, gunnery, Science and any other skills. I have low memory (4), low int(6), average perception and high charisma (14).
The only skills I can learn fast are Corporate Management, Leadership, Social skills and Trade. Trade doesn't work, Leadership doesn't do much, Social skills, specially Negociation doesn't have any effect on missions and Corporate Management skills only matter if your corp is big.
Since last patch I can't handle kill missions, and money rewards has been cut down. All I can do is mining, as everybody else. I like to mine sometimes but I don't want to be forced to mine as a source of income and I can't learn Mining or Refining Efficiency fast however since I have low memory.
I don't know if I am a carebear or not, I have been in 0.0 space many times, in places like Geminate or Poitot. I don't fear PvP but I won't ever be good at it. This character will always be a second zone character just good enough to be the alt on a second account. I prefer cancel subscription than open a second account.

I don't fear PvP either, but I don't go looking for it, and I don't retaliate when attacked, well, because, there is no way for me to win...
I've cancelled both of my accounts. I had started a second one for a PvP character, but CCP just keeps boning non-PvP'ers with every ******* patch, so I think I've finally had it with this crap...
Too bad, because beta was so much fun, I thought this game was gonna be the best MMO ever, well it's not...
I feel as though I've wasted 9 months of gaming and about $200 US dollars.

But at least it is not a bad patch.. it is a nice addon.. and improvement of todays features.
nontheless we need CONTENT ... best would be new Content, but i would also accept the well going and long testet versions of.. mobile refinerys.. availible interceptors, cloaking, or usefull Tech 2 BP¦s.
at least .. not bad the Patch but nothing very important new.
