My level 3 agent is quality neg 17, EQ 0, she gives me sometimes 25k rewards since patch, are high quality agents giving better rewards now?

The answer is yes but not a lot. I used an EQ 33 agent last night. Typical reward was about 30k plus 30k bonus best 50k and 50k.
Also no T2 handed out. No bonuses other than isk. Three importants in 11 missions (I always get a lot of these for some reason but this is ridiculous). I did get the damsel, effectively kill 190k of pirates for 70k including bonus.
Missions seem to have been seriously nerfed. Was nearly as profitable as mining (also nearly as dull). Now a lot less profitable and kill missions a lot more dangerous.

Okies, so the answer is no because the less good rewards are around 20k and I got some 50k too.
I was hoping for an improvement there, maybe I should start another char since my charisma is still useless...

Sorry, misunderstood the original question. EQ works in that a higher EQ agent seems to give better rewards than a lower. The rewards are however much reduced since the latest patch.
Typical pre patch was 70k with 70k bonus and 200k plus 200k bonus not unusual with a lot of T2.
The other thing I forgot to mention is that the fixing of the jump bug makes mission times a lot longer to get the lower reward.

Mission rewards vary between missions. Unless you are comparing with the same mission and same level agent, the varying EQ is a moot point.
Btw. we double checked it recently, and it seems to be working. It's just impossible to determine that from random missions unless you have a real large number of them. Like a few hundred missions.

ahhh, Papa Smurf, just the person I wanted to ask why "The average rewards for missions have been raised over the board for courier missions." was removed from the patchnotes? A lot of us are wondering, because we were looking forward to an increase

Mission I'm considerint taking and then telling my agent where to shove it:
Long Haul =======================
Mission briefing: ----------------------- As usual we need a bunch of Miniature Electronics delivered to our station in Zehru, that is Zehru IX - Moon 4 - Viziam Factory. You have 3 hours to make this run.
I pay her 24156 collateral I get 5800 pay!!!!! with a bonus of 5800!!!!
so if I did this mission I would get 11600 just for shifting 61 units of miniture electronics...
Lets see I've now got about 200 of them sitting in my hanger..... Please tell me that this is not the average for agent pays..
Btw this is from a Lvl 1 agent with a good EQ, and negotiations 3
Also the thrid time I've recieved this mission..
I suppose I better do it so I can get that lvl 2 agent with research skills :(

Edited by: Ciar Meara on 29/01/2004 18:00:45 Mission awards are way to low now, they used to be fine until somebody started to fiddle with them now I have to make 2 or 3 time as many mission to even get by.
I get agent missions with 16000-20 000 reward and even smaller bonus and these are level III missions while i got 8.50 sec rating for that corp! And this is after about 20-30 mission and 2 days of playing.
I hope they didn't use the lower and highest levels amounts of money to level it out accros the field cause that way the whole rewards sytem was pulled down by the level I agent rewards.
PS: and remove the shuttle rewards, wth are we going to do with hundreds and hundreds of shuttles, nodoby buys one unless they are in exact the same station and they only give a small amount of trit.

I have an agent with an EQ of 34, and I get ~20-50k for both reward and bonus for *every* courier mission I've done, though I haven't done as many as I usually do.
Kill missions however I get about 300-500k out of.
Missions were supposed to be balanced right?

My fellow agents. I have a level 3 eq 44. I make 70k with bonus. My kill mission for my mining npc corp killing 3 8k pirates gets me 200k. I hope they made the npc that should not be into killing far and few between. I would rather be mining for my agent. --------------------------

I'll swap you my Navy's sudden desire for mining and courier missions for your Kill missions :) -- TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |
