Once again, when I try to patch the game to build 1378, I get the checksum error when I reach the file right after res.stuff. This happens whether I try to patch on login, from a separate download, or from the full install of build 1352 that I downloaded to fix the LAST checksum error charlie-fox.
Needless to say this is really ****ing me off. Either use an installer that's not as anal-retentive, or keep your notes straight! But this whole business of having to fiddle around for a week trying to get the game to work again every time it gets patched isn't acceptable.
So, how does one get around this? I've already tried patching the game in safe mode. No joy.

I had the same just reinstall the game and then install it worked for me.

Also, you can grab the individual .stuff files from a link under the patches.
just download the one you get the error on and extract it to your eve folder and then do the patch over.
Works for me, and I have had to do it at every patch.

I read somewhere that that problem also comes sometimes when you have errors in your pc memory.

Wren, would I be replacing the files in the 1352 full install, or the 1360 version of the game?
Errors in the memory...I assume you mean RAM?

stuff filesno, you would be downloading the already patched files for the latest build, so when you run the patch, it notices that the file is already patched and moves to the next.

Witch one of those should i download to fix Checksum error in the Stuff files ?
