I started the game with no real knowledge going in, and just kinda quick rolled my character. Caldari, Archura, special forces. Im only at 1.8m skill points which is not alot by any means, but seems sure seems like it heh. Now that I am learning alot more about the game, Im starting to lean towards a much different play style and skill set, as well as liking a different race's ships and style much better. I know you can train for anyones ships, and train for almost anything with time. I just want to start sooner with a different specialty. Is it stupid to re-roll at this point?

Absolutely not, you better reroll now since you aint loosing much sp from starting again. Also, you're basically allowed 1 caracter per account (since only one caracter per account can train at a time) so its worth it to reroll to something you like. - - - - -

Also depends what your starting attributes had been and what have you been training for the last month? If its all learning and you had decent stats you might need to reroll.

Edited by: Liaya on 26/07/2007 21:16:12 It might help if we could see your exact stats, what you've been learning in the past month and what you plan to learn if you reroll.

imo there is no point rerolling at all if you are in need of different skills. But other Attributes, that's another thing. If you are going to reroll do it early on in the game like now Somebody set up us the bomb |

Considering attributes adjust the time to train skills, it seems like if you wanted a slightly different career you could still train up some attributes skills in your weak areas and train the skills. It may take a bit longer then if you had the attributes originally, but in the end its all about skills and you can train skills no matter what your attributes. Thats my take anyway.

if you trained learning skills and basic support skills, there is little need to reroll. . .If I were you, I would keep your chracter and simply start training for the ships you want to fly. Only if your attributes are really terrible is there any real reason to reroll - but your Race/species is generally very good and difficult to botch.

Edited by: cal nereus on 27/07/2007 15:35:13 Better to re-roll now rather than later. I'd say if you're dead-set on going for a different play-style and race's ships, you will save time by re-rolling. This statement will be less true the longer you wait. In my case, I'm a Caldari who is piloting Gallente ships almost exclusively, with most of my combat sp in drones, but I started out as a mining character. By the time I decided to make the switch I already had so many core skills trained on this character that I decided not to re-roll. ---
