OK, as I type this, I've already listen to a SID (C64 music) cover of the Spice Girls song "Viva Forever" and am currently listening to what could be considered a cover of a cover: A SID version of one of the dance/rave covers of Alphaville's "Forever Young".
Oddness, I bet you're thinking.
But in any case, I reckon I'm not the only one who listens to some crazy stuff. Sooo.... fess up, if you please. Tell us what you listen to that everyone else here would consider a bit barmy.

I use my music selection on my myspace page at work and it goes from such hits in the 70's like You sexy thing to songs like Run away train and every rose has it's thorn. Then suddenly I could find myself listening to Cottoneye Joe or Jump Around and Insane in the Brain. Suddenly I'm tracked to Boulevard of Broken Dreams or Take Me Out or Float On. It's also got classics like Bullet with Butterfly Wings or Feel Good Inc.
then I can finish the day with Love Rollercoaster followed by Thunderkiss 65, Shook Me all night Long, or some System of a Down songs.
roughly about 4 generations of music in about 56 songs. Still adding them as I go.

I do that all the time! Cheesy SIDs, MODs or MP3s, there's plenty of great stuff out there just waiting to be found. I don't care what people think, if I like a song then I listen to it regardless of genre, format etc.
Currently listening to Koto - Visitors (original mix), great tune.

I've accumulated a lot of strange music these past years.
The weirder stuff I occasionally include on my Currently Playing list includes:
Balkan gypsy music which I can't possibly play for more than 10 minutes before it starts killing off braincells. Terribly played accordion music (or maybe that streetinstrument where a performer turns a handle on a box) from Netherlands. Charles Ives' Concord Sonata which is 54 minutes of pure torture for anyone with "untrained" ears. (Settles in nicely after a few hundred runs, though) The soundtrack from the game "Neverhood", I can't possibly describe it. It's just awesome. (Also, pretty much in the same league as the Balkan gypsy music, only not as potent). And dozens upon dozens of individual soundtracks of film music, tin-pot national anthems, modern compositions featuring taperecorders as instruments and pianos with studded strings (John Cage rules), the list in endless.
Think I've also accidently scooped up GTA2's soundtrack folder a while back, have never bothered to correct it as random uninformative exclamations make the Shuffle option rather colourful.
