So yeah, getting carriers, motherships, kitchen sinks dropped on my head is quickly going out of style. Privateers got nerfed because they got greedy for targets, so I find myself looking for a decent empire pvp corp for myself and a close friend.
What we bring to the table: 4 characters with 130m in combined sp, self financed, motivated killers.
We play mostly in the US east timeframe (2100-0200 eve time) although as of late I'm online most of the day.
What we want:
Targets, someone else to play the CEO role, leading a corp just annoys me. Coverage of our timezone, if no one is online while we are it's kind of pointless to change corps. I prefer not having to play multiple combat character at the same time, if at all possible.
What we don't want:
Policies forbidding any banter in local, outright smack, sure we'll avoid it, but if you can't laugh in a game what is the point of playing?
A corp full of new players fielding crap.
A corp that wardecs corps full of new players fielding crap (unless that corp harbors some variety of macrominer, isk farmer, etc)
Alternatively, if you are a corp that finds yourself being decced by some big meanies, we would probably be willing to help you out, provided the big meanies don't all run away.
To sum up:
Cap blobs = bad
Fun fights = good
0.0 corp recruiters that reply to this thread = illiterate.

Hi,
Why not consider the merc way of life and Thunderstruck as your new home.
We are fairly new to the merc business - having successfully completed our first few contracts - and are expanding our player base to help us further our contract potential. We work as a close-knit team and have a nice relaxed atmosphere. The only problem might be timezone issues. We are a minly EU corp though are usually on until late, covering the times you have mentioned. Come and see.

I'd love to have players but don't meet your or anyone's qualifications.
I'm mostly a noob myself and don't have hours to devote to leading people. I just decided I wanted empire wars so I'm getting my feet wet war deccing freighter corporations solo. I'm US time zone though and some day hope for some good wars in empire. If you find something amazing feel free to message the corp name my way so I can look and at least aim for their qualifications in the future.

Hi,
You may have heard of us, maybe not. We are a true empire corp and have a few ex-privateers. One thing I don't do to potential recruits is lie so here comes the truth.......
Are we a corp of new players fileding crap? Perhaps. We like to lose cheap insurable stuff and destroy T2 and best named. Do we wardec other corps full of noobs fielding crap? Yes. Not for long, just until they have enough time to hire mercs. (let them pay for the war)
The corp is run by the CEO and a few directors. Do we ban smacktalk? NO, we encourage it.  EST is probably our busies time at the moment die to the crossover between Pacific and GMT. If you play late, we have a few Aussies too.
