I just wanted to profess my love for the Sleipnir command ship. I decided to try it over my super tank Maelstrom( 1800 shield every 5 seconds) and I have not looked back.
The damage output is great, resist are beautiful and its BC size. Plus I like it's paint job. I've been able to tank nearly every lvl 4 so far( just tanked worlds collide without breaking too much of a sweat) and finish them relatively fast.
I love my "Boom Boom Ship".

I dont really see the point in using it over the Maelstrom for level 4 missions. Much less range and damage output, and the Maelstrom can tank really well too. Also it can carry more drones.

Slightly less range yes but the damage isn't THAT Much lower. Given the BCs smaller size( less dmg from cruise and torps), much faster so range isn't too much of a factor.

I think its a common myth that the damage isnt that much lover, specially when fighting the rats at 40-60 km which is very common in level 4 missions.

Ive even used medium drones for the Maelstrom here. Guess what happens with Ogre II's. :)

Hmm, the point is I can still do lvl 4s in it at a good speed. Plus it's a better ship to do lvl 4s with corp mates since I can't kill everything as fast.

Yep, im not saying it doesnt work for level 4 missions. And its extra speed, lower sig and higher tracking can be very nice. But I think the Maelstrom completes the missions the fastest.
Then again, Raven is probably the best bet for completing missions the fastest if you dont mind flying caldari.

I never said Sleipnir did lvl 4 faster, just funner 
Plus my caldari days are long gone.
