IMO, CCP shortend the wrong name in the navigation menu (douple = next to system name).
They left the most obvious one long - the system name.
Instead of leving that one out, they shortened the Station names to illegible shortings.
A system now reads like:
Lirsauton I (CF)
Lirsauton IV M1 (GIBIB)
Lirsauton IX M15 (FAIC)
and so on...
I think, it should read:
Credon Factory (I)
Garoun Investment Bank Investment Bank (IV M15) (<= that's true  )
Federation Administration Information Center (IX M15)
Where is the atmosphere, if the location is more important than the company who runs the station?

Well, I think the planet and moon numbers should be first, then station name. After all, I (and people I talk to) only use the numbers.

I totally agree - begone with the acronyms! They are ugly and they are less user friendly!

I like the order, but the shortend name does not seem to be a step forwards.

i thought it was fine the way it was. now it takes me 2 hours to find the station i want

I, too, dislike the current abbreviation of the Station Name. We already know which system we are in...either put it back the way it was, please, or put the FULL system name in the front (allows stations to be sorted by name, the way it should be) with the Planet number and moon number after)
Just my 2 isk...
