Hi,
I'd really like to improve my standing with Lai Dai, but the agents are few and far apart.
Can I gain standing for Lai Dai by working for other agents e.g. Caldari Navy as Lai Dai seem to be connected to the Caldari state?

generally, working for the same faction will give you some standings bonus... but when it's not the same corp, it is VERY slow. you'd best be off with taking a lai dai agent, or training up the relevant social mutator skill if they are friendly (connections) or in the negative (diplomacy).

Try to find storyline agent that belongs to Lai Dai and start to running missions not far enough from him. And he will offer ya storylines, and ur stending will be boosted.

try a lvl 1 cosmos agent , they usely demand some kinda item , you can buy from market or something. that way you just pay for faction.
cosmos = storyline mission.
they are around Friggi.

Me don't thinks that it will boost standing enough. For example, 5-staged courier missons of amarrian 2nd lvl COSMOS agent boosted standing of mine AFAIK just about 0.7%.
