(long post) I have to quit eve after this pay period. It kind of sucks, I just got here and now I have to leave. But school calls me. I need to focus on this next semester.
What I think would be a great addition to the game is allow paying players to train skills from the official website.
It would be just as if you logged into the game and right clicked and trained to the next level. But it should only allow you to train skills that are at least at level 1.
Why implement this? Well I said in the beginning that I needed to focus on school. If I kept eve installed on my computer I would play it. And not study. I have to study.... This feature would allow me to keep training my character while I be a good student and keep my grades up. Then when school calms down I can reinstall the game and play.
I would like to come back to eve once I have the time. The problem is right now I will not be gaining anymore sp. If this was a feature I could be gaining much needed skills to further my character. While still paying, while not abusing game mechanics(this isnĘt skill Queuing). I think this is something that would keep me playing. If I had the time to come back and play fully again later in the semester. I think I would be more inclined to if I was able to train up during school. But if I was still stuck at 2 million sp when I had the chance to reactivate I might be hesitant.. ok long post over...
Skill Training Via the official Site -Allow players to train skills at level 1 from the website -would allow a minority of players to keep their grades up while keeping their accounts going strong.

The devs have stated that they will not allow skill changing via the website for 2 reasons.
1) They want people to play the game
2) They do not want someone to create a character manager that can change your skills.
If you want more information try a search this idea has been done to death several times.

I can understand that they wantpeople to play the game. But sometimes you have to focus on other things.
I get what you mean with a character manager. But to defeat that there could be a simple image vertification before you train a skill. I think the latter could be delt with but your first point would be hard to beat.

If you have the time to change your skill via a website. You have the time to login to the game and change your skill.

When I was in the Navy, I basically lost quite a bit of training time due to not being able to log in to eve itself. I could log into eve-online.com, so being able to change my skills from there would have been quite helpful.
All of this has been gone over though, I wish they'd do it, but I doubt they will.

Not true, not in every job u got full access to pc, ie in most offices they will give u full access to web but no access to anything else, ergo no installing eve. ---
