It may be possible to fix without full download:
I downloaded the whole thing AGAIN and found out this:
Comparing EVE_Setup_34791\tut2.stuff and EVE_Setup_35183\tut2.stuff...
Compare error at OFFSET 190ABCA
file1 = B3
file2 = BB
Compare more files (Y/N) ? n
Change b3 to bb at 190ABCA and the patch should work.

I am getting this too. Tried copies of both my standard clients so I doubt the file is really corrupt. I have no clue what your 'fix' means though...
There is no 'n' in turret
There is no 'r' in faction
There is no 'a' in Scorpion
There is no 'e' in Caldari
There is no makeup in rogue drones |

I got this also on a fresh install. Guess the current TQ to current Sisi patch is fubar (prolly why it isnt in the official patch section)...
Too bad there also is no patch for my most recent full build (34971)...

It also helps to read and then think/comprehend, in other words:
>Comparing EVE_Setup_34791\tut2.stuff and EVE_Setup_35183\tut2.stuff...
Means the 34791 which you have has a file that is being compared to the latest full install 35183 available on the download page.
>Compare error at OFFSET 190ABCA
Means there is a difference at this location
>file1 = B3 file2 = BB
And the fix is that if you have B3 there then you change it to BB. This can be done with notepad replacement such as jujuedit (free) or specialized tool such as winhex ($$). Or you can just download the full 35183. With 100 Mbit connection the download is faster than editing if you haven't got the tools already.

Okay just to make sure the programming illiterate in me understands this correctly:
The error is in the 34791 build, and is not fixed by the 34791 -> 35183 patch, but it IS fixed in the 35183 full build?

thanks, good find. this worked for me, but you need to know what you're doing and always make a backup copy of a file you work on. if you're not sure what to do or how to do it, just skip this and download the whole client fresh.
come on devs, this is getting to be brutal at this point. =P
