This is a repost from a couple weeks ago.
'm familiar with MMO's - I spent 3 years in AC, followed by 4 in daoc. I appreciate the grouping aspects of a good MMO, and daoc made me enjoy the PVP side.
What I'm looking for:
A larger corp Centered in/near Metropolis, specifically near Osvest. I have RL friends there. Several veterans experienced in all roles, willing to answer questions Frequent grouping events. Manufacturing/research support is a must - I'd like access to corporate BPO's in a reasonable amount of time. 3 months is probably too long for me to stick around. I know thats alot to ask. Corp focus on all aspects of the game. I'm interested in pvp and research/manufacturing/invention, but I realize mission running and mining are necessary to get there. A 25+ average age on members. I'm 29, and don't fit in too well with the summer out-of-school crowd.
Where I'm at so far:
1 acct is at 1.3k total SP, speced just enough to haul in an industrial, and then concentrating on pvp skills. Amarr Amarr.
2nd acct is 1.4k total SP, has an Osprey miner , then pushing mining barges. He is Caldari Achura Inventor, so come setup with mining 5 and mining foreman 4. Ready to group :) I hope to have him driving a hulk eventually, then working towards invention, when he can support himself.
3rd acct is 1.4 gallente gallente, spec'ed for manufacturing and trade. Girlfriend's character that I'm managing for the time being.
Thanks, let me know what you can offer a beginner to the game!

Well, we are more in the Sinq Laison area, but take a look at our newbie guide, send an evemail to myself or my corpmate Hype Hamfist - and let's talk? We pride ourselves in teaching new players to find their way in Eve.

Amanda, thanks for the response. I'm looking more for resources and grouping, than in game tutorials, although your Corp looks like it would have helped quite a bit when I started a month ago.
Thanks again :)

Edited by: Idx on 30/07/2007 18:36:26 Yup, I understand they are thieves in abundance. I fully expect most corps to pass me over for this reason alone, and thats fine by me. I don't blame them. I'm hoping to find a corp that has a member that knows me from another game, one that has a shorter time frame than 3 months, or one thats just willing to extend me a little trust. We'll see.

Idx,
Are you still on the look out for a corp in the Metro area? If that is still the cause perhaps you would consider Purify. We have a number of very experienced pod pilots; we are also a mumber of the UFA alliance which also has a good number of very experienced PVP pilots.
In addition to PVP we can offer mining, mission running, general assistance and pretty much anything one would need.
If this sounds of any interest to you please drop me an evemail or join our recruitment channel: Purify and perhaps we can discuss things further, otherwise I wish you luck in your search; I know how hard it is to find a good corp.
Thanks for your time.

Stylom - what system/region are you based in? What can you offer a pilot that is still doing level 1 missions on three different toons? How long do I have to wait to gain access to corporate BPO's for research, copying, and manufacturing? Do you have a PoS?
Thanks, your corp sounds interesting. Funny that I might be too young at 29 :)

Edited by: Sythyss on 01/08/2007 02:42:34 hey there Idx! You may want to look into Twilight Trading. Just give our website a look at here and get in contact if at all interested : )
We do mainly operate out of the Metro region atm, and we are interested in all aspects of the game. We have a POS setup for research, production, and mining very near our headquarters in Hek, and we do have a few experienced pilots...even one who's played during beta : )
Anyways there's more info on the website, and gimme a convo if interested. Hope to hear from you soon.

Syth - I had problems with your registration form. I tried to register four or five times, but my confirmation code never matched. I'm not an idiot, something fishy is going on there :)

Looking for a manufacturing/invention/research/mining corp that is newb friendly, and base near osvest in metropolis.

Ya, I understand that. I was just hoping to find a corp that thought 3 months was unreasonable as I do. We'll see. I'm starting to buy me own, so maybe all I need is lab access and a few pointers, I don't know.

3 months? heh...yeah that's way too long. We've invested about 50 - 100M in our BPO stock...and most manufacturers we trust get access to them pretty quickly. We have our own POS with assembly arrays for manufacturing and a mobile lab for research. We also hope to acquire another one soon as it has limited slots available.
If you haven't already check our website out here and I'll try to convo you next time I see you in-game. Haven't been able to catch ya on yet =P
