Mostly because you don't need cap to kill the opponent. If you allow your cap to approach zero (with mix of NOSes and neutralizers), you'll be able to keep the opponent out of cap as well. (replace DB PDU with PDU II, replace SS Magstab with PDU II, fits and does 1250 DPS.)

Ive seen domi powergrid. I have a domi that dishes out more damage than a blasterthron. But the setup isnt for the weak of heart (or low sp noobs). Target can't nos you because you should always have lower cap % than him. Try thinking before whining.
