I have gotten in to a kind of peculiar situation, I have got this box from a courier missoin out in 0.0 and I cant fit it in my carrier because it takes 12300m3 and it cant be assembled in my shiphangar. So basically i cant get it in to empire from here and know im seriously thinking about breaking it.
And my question is what happen with the items inside the box when i trash the box? Do they get destroyed or is it only the box that gets destroyed.

I'm 99% certain trashing it will destroy it. I belive you have to "Break" the package, or some other option like that to keep the contents. but i'm not 100% on everything. "If this is player contract and you know the people you should be able trade it to them after breaking it, if it's an agent mission you're screwed.".

The option break does not exist anymore. And in this particular case I know that Tulia has fail her mission to be able to get the content inside. Still we cant get the damn box to open. The only option we have is to "thrash item". When we try to "thrash it" it says "Do u really want to throw away 1 plastic wrap!". Wich to me sounds like it might just thrash the package and not whats inside. I just want to be sure because whats inside is worth a **** load of cash.

Correct! You repackage the shrink wrapped goods to get them out. You will also end up with a useless piece of repackage shrink wrap. Obviously you will not be able to complete the mission if you break the package open.
Edit - Trashing it will trash everything inside as well. Not a good idea.

if you're unsure, just get a friend to create a cheap courier contract for something worthless, and try out the different options, and see what happens.
