I heard somewhere that with tech2 ships, when they get blown up they drop a construction component, this id make people hunt player bs more often. Does anyone know if this is true, or the usual load of bull$hit?

Well, all ships were just given about 50% more hitpoints so I don't really see any problem here.
And 6 months? Maybe if you're mining veldspar in a Ibis.

I know alot of peaple that only play few hours every week, for them it is several months to replase a battleship 
Not everyone is a power gamer like us and only need to play 1-2 day to replace a ship.

... Your choice, but being enemies and maintaining common courtesy aren't really mutually exclusive. It tells more about you than it does about them. :/

thats the point my friend toulak, im sure me or the lads have NEVER seen him once in the game, if he did he would probably soil his pants.
what Jo said is spot on, just cause u dont like us in the game, doesnt mean u cant be civil on the forums, i dont have a enemy in the game, i just hunt rats, cause it gives me my fun.
i lost my tempest a few nights ago, it was a good kill, took us ages to find any rats, and we were prob a bit gung ho, but i dont hate the guys whom done it, i actually respect them, and OMG, like them .
anyways, things dont change soon, im going to be less selective of whom i kill, i just want to PVP, ill chose my way of getting it.
d solo.

He is only a carebear that have been licking roids all his time in eve. Finaly made the isk he think he needs. did not like the new patch, found out he should turn pirate or quit the game.
A whiner of the really big ones. do a search on all his posts and you see for your self.
