Well, I've been thinking about some little things that would be nice to have in EVE, and this is what I have so far.
- Movable targets. This would be great. We had it before on the old UI, and I never understood why that was changed. It would be extremely useful, especially for carrier or logistics pilots, who could have their friendly targets moved to one side of the screen and leave their hostile targets at the top so they don't shoot/rep the wrong guy.
- Horizontal scroll bar in the overview. With the addition of the heat parts of the UI, the module buttons extended much further than they used to. I've grown to like how the buttons look, but it means that my overview had to be pushed back a bit. What I would like is a scroll bar so that you could keep all the columns but not have to have the overview stretched into next year. Can't be too hard to do surely?
- Chat channels remember their position when stacked. This one annoys me. Every time I log in I have to rearrange my chat channels in the stack so they are in the correct place and I know where everything is. Why the hell do they change back when I next log out? Why? Fix this, please. My sanity depends on it.
- Options for the "Selected Target" window. Not exactly the most needed thing in the world, but could be useful. Have it able to display corp/alliance, standings, bounties. That kind of thing. Mostly just because it's nice to have some customisation available.
- Mission information text in chat windows. This one is a huge pain. And if you have a lot of chat windows can in fact briefly cause lag as all of them update and blink to tell you. Either keep it to local only, or keep it to the selected chat window only. No more than that please. This is another thing that drives me insane.
- Objective complete/not complete in journal. At the moment I have to open my journal and then open the mission information window in order for me to tell if I have completed a mission or not. It would be great just to have a little indicator next to the mission name in the journal, just using the already existing green ticks and red crosses thing to inform if the mission objective has been completed or not.
I think that's about it. Like I said, just some small things.
