Tech 2 components before patch: candy.
Tech 2 components after patch: more rare than important missions.
I'm really losing my faith in CCP to really tweak anything. You'd think they'd get the hang of it by now

As evidenced by Papa's post on how he and Hjorln both modified the same thing, the problem is that they can't tweak things correctly, the problem is they don't talk to each other before they tweak them.
So instead of one person fixing it, you've got 3 people running away from one point, making the problem 9X as bad.

TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |

Please! This is pure speculation on your part. Yes, it happened once and it might have happened more than once but you can't just state it as "it happened once to your knowledge so therefore it happens all the time"
Communication breaks down and that is just life. He wasn't sitting back in his smoking jacket sipping cognac, saying to himself, "I modified the code too"

Nevertheless, this is something that should never happen.. there is a handy program called mijob that is designed to manage group projects.. very useful for programmers. It's designer even programmed some of the tools the GM's use I think..
Those who are interested can check it out at mijob and other useful stuff [it's all Icelandic though... which is ok for the devs but not most of you common players]

It seems like this time they tried to make modules and other things appear less often. One person increased the isk value of all the items in the tables, and another decreased the isk you get, and yet another person decreased the frequency of getting bonuses as stuff.
Though that is purly speculation.
