When they are in space some of my ogres are showing signs of wear and tear so i tried to repair em
Dumped them on hangar floor only to be shown they had no damage. Tried again having repackaged them but same again....
Is this a display bug (ie they aint damaged) or a repairshop problem??
Anyone else suffering?

I believe its a display bug. I'll prod someone to make sure its fixed. -- Richard CCP Programmer. Anything said above is not the official line, but my own take or opinion. |

Hi,
might be both, depends on 2 things:
a) is this new with 1378? and are the drones 100% ok or damaged when you check? then its most likely a display bug that came with 1378. resizing the window will change the hp gauge, but it might get even worse!
b) is it a pre 1378 problem and does the rpairshop always report damages and repair fees? then its the old repair bug. to solve this, get your drones repaired and repackage them afterwards before leaving station. if you dont do this the damages will be repaired, the fee will be paid but the drones will be damaged when you are in space. not sure if this has been officially fixed in 1378, though
regards...

its a) for me...
is there another possibility to check the drones health but repairshop and the broken drones window? (and is there a chance to see their shield status at all?)

For me its a post-1378 problem
Resizing the display window of my ogre-health just makes things worse Some of them show as 50% damaged but repackaged or otherwise, I cannot get the repairshop to give me a quote as they show as undamaged

Hi,
well, you still didnt answer my question, though. if the repairshop shows no damage and if its new with 1378 then its most likely reason a). just do the fllowing, undock and launch your drones, target them and check their hp. if they really ARE damaged you will see when u target them, if they arent, just live with the wrong display in the window as we all have to!
i dont like not knowing the exact status of my drones either, but unless theres a fix we cant do much about it.
regards

Sorry, its the old bug back.
If you repair a drone and don't repackage it. Undock, and redock. That same drone is damaged again.
If you try to repair drones that are in your drone bay you can get some strange error when you try to repackage them manually (right clicking on the drone in drone bay, and selecting repackage) which complains that it can't be repackaged yet as it is currently being repaired. If you repair and repackage in the repair window, things seem fine, or if you drag them to your hanger and repair and repackage, and return them to your drone bay.
But it is the old bug that if the drone isn't repackaged, it isn't repaired at all. The money is still taken for all repairs, but they just aren't remembered unless the damned thing is repackaged.
