Wow, that takes me back. I seem to remember it was actually a rather decent game - including in multiplayer 
I'm sure I have a copy around here somewhere....

I have a copy of it!!! And you dont nananan!
I actualy bought it in a colector edition, before I had an illegal copy of it from my local library. There is a delta force pack for sale together with land warrior and task force dagger.
If you cant find it I suggest you try out black hawk down/typhoon rising they have similar if not improved gameplay and graphics. Although they cant match to bf2 to be honest.

i used to have most of them, lost them in a fire though.
i really have an urge to play it. i loved it always used to play when i was around 10-12 yrs old

Aw that sucks, I also played it as a teenager. One of my first games I got the experience of a sniper really loved it.
My favorite map was the snowmountain with a armoury bunker on top of it.

Ahh, playing on a server with tracers on, I became very good at lobbing grenades back at the other team using their tracer trail as a guide.
My old roomie and I used to play DF2 a lot. Good times.
