That specific one was particularly amusing, the only reason that one died is because someone mis-clicked and accidentally suicided on it. So it was decided he had to die on principle, the fact we followed him for 15 minutes in pods and then refit new ships, cought up to him again, and then dropped him and made 600mil is why the story is worth posting. But I suppose such comedy is lost on anti-pirate trolls such as yourself. Hey, what did you do today? Let me see if I have this straight, it took you and your group 2 attempts to kill one AFK hauler, make a "glorius" posting of your achievement, and your calling me and mine no talent losers? Taking a vacation as it were from any sort of 'serious' PVP. (Frankly, I've never referred to high-sec ganking as PVP, ever.) And there have been so many failed attempts by Cyrene to blob/gank members of my corp, or myself in particular that your whole alliance is just a joke. The few times I have engaged in combat with Cyrene has resulted in the destruction of 90-100% (never less than 90%) of the Cyrene targets, with zero losses to my group. You guys show up with one or two bait ships, and you have another dozen or more blob ships waiting a system or two off. I have your whole gang specced out a half hour before you're even in local. I see you coming from a mile away. Your tactics and skills are a joke. Cyrene only comes around when they have 3:1 numbers and then smack in local and proclaim how skilled and cool they are, and about how 'chicken' everyone else is. If the numbers are even close to even, there isn't a fight. And it's definitely too much to ask to get a fight that isn't at a station or gate where the gate guns are pounding on us the whole time. Originally by: murder one Just checked my KB, it shows I've killed 4x BS, an Ishtar, a Vengeance, Manticore (recently) and some T1 cruisers of Cyrenes. My corp has lost a Hype and a Drake to Cyrene, and while both kills were against some of my corps noob members, they're still kills against my corp. At no time has Cyrene ever killed any of my ships, while I have personally killed a number of Cyrenes. And this is just the kills I've recorded going back a month or two. A little over a year ago (ok, so it's been awhile) your vexor was killed by 2 members of CYI in Decon. Add an incusis to that 3 months ago and a Cats domi a year ago. You're not exactly worth our time to go looking for these days. Indeed, you should have someone with some modicum of intelligence explain how sec status and standings with NPC corps work to you. It's like you people (read: dumb as rocks anti-pirates) have never experienced someone using more than one character in Eve before. You can't get -10.00 to FNA by failing a few missions. Or any sort of mission. Same goes with all the rest of the NPC corps that I have extremely bad standing with (-9.98, -9.85, etc. etc.). Point being, this character isn't my 'shooter' any more. Zafriel Acidic Reign	Posted - 2007.08.13 11:02:00 - [61] Your npc corp standing goes down if you kill members of that corp, to get -10 from doing agent missions is impossible as you would need to repeatedly fail misions for that corp and as you cannot do missions for more than one newb corp; then having negative standings across the board must mean that you are killing all members of newb corps. The only realistic way of getting such bad standings is from gate camping low sec empire...therefore a pirate. I hope that clears that up.

Pushing through your escort friends isn't going to help unless you have enough firepower to defeat them. Without that, you're sitting on your side of the gate. Most of these people also have a lookout on your side of the gate. They'll arrive on your side of the gate shortly.
