Hello everyone
I'm running an auction for a nice cheap 1 billion ISK
Ticket Price:
One ticket will cost 30 million ISK
Prizes:
six (6) numbers will be a refund of your 30 million ISK
one (1) number will be the grand prize of 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) ISK
one (1) free entry into my next auction
Rules:
I will be using the national UK lottery to pick the winning number and ensure fairness of the draw. Besides standard 6 numbers drawn, 7th ball is also drawn as bonus ball. We will use the 7th ball number to decide the winner of the grand prize of this lottery. The other 6 will be the refund prizes. After the money has been handed out, the player that has the number of the next drawing's bonus ball will receive a free ticket in my next auction!
Here is the link to the lottery we will be using
ALL 49 TICKETS must be sold. If they do not all sell within a reasonable amount of time, all ISK will be refunded and the auction will be canceled.

Will be announced as the numbers start to fill up.
How To Enter
send the ISK to myself, Krentia Grist. Please put "lottery" or something along those lines as the reason when you send the ISK. Then reply to this post with the numbers you would like to use for the drawing.
IMPORTANT NOTE!! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REPLY TO THIS POST WITH THE SAME CHARACTER YOU SENT THE MONEY FROM!!
Also, please check and make sure your number is not already taken.
Once the drawing is complete, the winners will be notified via eve-mail.

Well take a look at my employment history and current corp/alliance. if i was caught scamming 1.5 billion ISK, i would be removed from my alliance and my name would be spread accross the forums and i would not be able to get anywhere in Eve.
and yes i would be more then happy to use a third party as a trustee to prove that this is not a scam. sadly i do not quite have 1.5 billion right now, but i would be happy to redirect all money sent to me to him/her and ask him to reply to this post confirming it.

Our corporation will function as trustee. I have given Krentia her own wallet division within the corporation for the lottery.
I have have full faith in Krentia running this lottery fairly, and her membership of this corporation is her voucher to me.

I can understand how you feel with the recent scam. Honestly, lottery scammers...or rather any and all Eve scammers...are *******s. They ruin the game for both people that attempted to participate, as well as people that are honest about lotteries. I gave proof that the money is being immediately transfered to the custody of the corporation Firing Squad, rather then being held on to myself. The corp is acting as a trustee and holding the money until the drawing. I can give picture evidence that every transaction so far has been given to the corp for further proof if you'd like.
I hope that further successful lotteries will help to clear the name of those looking to create and run these kind of lotteries with honesty

Although anyone could whenever become scammer, there are some ways to estimate the like hood of that. For example:
- Would the reputation loss cost scammer more than what he could gain?
- Has he had chance to scam far more at some point before (i.e if he didn't scam big amount then, its not that likely he would scam smaller amount now).
Neither are foolproof, but are good starts.
With Kaede's CNR case, if he sells his reputation for 1.5B - 3.0B would consider it bad call from his part: think he would been able to scam more (which he might do one day; who knows).
Or with this lottery; effectively backed up by 80 member corporation with history. Would be awfully low profits from such scam.

Thanks, this is the point I've been trying to make, but in better words lol.
