they did, i really don't want to go back threw months of threads but i did see sparta post's D2 post's ESA post's, I was personally in local with a small gang of Spartans saying i should stay docked in my crappy NPC region or be killed on site, then smack degraded to how we couldn't hold real space.

ppl who claim space, overestimate themselfes a lot.
the same way ppl living in 0.0 think they are worth more than ppl living in empire - why the hell do ppl think so? someone who lives in empire could easily move to 0.0, will this make him smarter or stronger? no...

Why are they turncoats?
1) Tri was friends longer
2) 5 Alliances have been forced to disband or pack up and leave (Why would -Y- want to babysit people?)
3) They stayed friends during a very tricky and confusing period of the war whilst MC was up. (Tri set MC blue and allowed them to move through Venal freely when needed as they were at the time doing deeds for -Y-)
***NOTE*** What I am about to say is purely assumption and must be taken as, it's not an attempt to flame, just me trying to give an insight into another possible reason as to what happened, so please don't see it as such.
4) Could it have been that Sparta requested -Y- to help them fight Tri putting -Y- in an uncomfortable situation. If this did happen it would obviously effect -Y-'s thinking and could possibly add to the already stacking list of reasons why they should have chosen Tri in the first place. (Obviously if this never happened then it's null and void but the list still favours Tri anyway)
So looking at that I don't see how they have been turncoats. They have chosen the long term friends whether for the right reasons or not. The decision shouldn't be questioned but possibly the reasons.
