ever since upgrading my gfx driver and direct X 9b I've been unable to play EVE due to the graphics going all screwy. I have a Sony Vaio laptop with mobility Radeon 9000. And before anyone says I have tried recovering my laptop and installing updated drivers. I have played EVE for about 7 month and its been fine up until a few week ago when it started doin it now and again but now it happens all the time. I think this is something to do with direct X coz EVE never used to be run on direct X 9 and this problem happens in other direct X 9 games aswell.
If this has happened to anyone I would love to know how they fixed it thx

Edited by: Beowulf Scheafer on 04/02/2004 12:10:07 Hmm im using an acer notebook with ATI Mobility Radeon 9000, and i have no problems.
Did you use Drivers from Sony? If yes, there is an trick to get Ati Catalyst Drivers working on Mobile cards. You need an little shareware prog, called "Mobile Mod 4.0". Download
This tool changes something in the .inf files of the driver, so the installprogramm will install them on your notebook
Illion did you test some older drivers, i know that the Ti 4200 has some probs with the newest NVidia Drivers, try some 4X.XX
