the ONLY reason I listen to music when I use the computer is to drown out the sound of mouse clicks, and clicks of any kind.
What compounds the issue is i'm a rampant RTS gamer too, so my mousing is sharp and fast, a flurry of clicks, and eve lags, which only makes the clicking that much more pronounced when nothing happens...click more? no nothing...more clicks....more clicks!...nothing....click....bzzzzzzt
Does anyone else have a rabid intollerance of mouse clicks, has anyone here found themselves grinding thier teeth as they click, click...clickclickclickclick

I find the clicking of my mouse soothing, almost as though it's the bolt action on a sniper rifle when I'm on top of a clocktower in downtown Reykjavfk.

ey, i am serious cat, and this is serious topic!
im one of the unlucky sobs whos girl will NEVER play eve :(
(sometimes when shes VERY drunk and horny she promises shell give it a go)
the best i can get from her, is her sitting next to me (of course i have to trade her the comfy chair for that) reading a book or something.
Normal procedure for her is to leave after about 30 minutes, completely ****ed, saying "your mouseclicks would drive anybody insane. dont you hear them yourself?"
since then my life has changed in 2 ways:
1) everytime i go out to buy a "quieter" mouse the salespersons give me the funny looks.
2) i hope and i prey i dont start to notice the clicks or my gaming life will be ruinied FOREVER. headphones arent an option.
altough i really wouldnt call it "holocaust"... is it just me, or does that word have a tad too much of a negative taste to it?
