General Coochie New Justice Molotov Coalition	Posted - 2007.08.06 16:32:00 - [1] Late in the afternoon I was crusing about in metropolis region in my celestis trying to find a target, be it in belt or in a misson. My trusty alt scouts ahead with probes ready. A zealot pops upp on the scanner, ah this can be a fun fight, dont know if I can break his tank, lets find out ! I try and point him down but no sucess, he jumps around in the system mostly at safespots it seems. Then he appears on my directional scanner right on top of a capsule in mid space nowhere near a celestial. Seconds later a corpse shows upp on scanner. Hm maybe the zealot also got an alt probing for him. The zealot remains in the safespot. Now I gotta be quick so I can get him when he is still in his safespot, local have a bunsh of other nasty ppl in it looking for kills though Im ceartain they arent with the zealot. Damn Ive got the scan probe laucher on my alt. quick to station change to recon probe launcher. Alt finally deploys his fathom probe and starts scanning. Result 548km, man thats not very good I warp to within 100km hoping I will not land in the same grid, Im lucky. Snoop probe away, about 75seconds later I got a 0km accuracy hit. I hit warp to within 10km. I come out of warp and the zealot just sits there right in my optimal range, I damp, nos, scram him and release my drones. Shields goes down fast, however I can barely even scratch his armor tank.. I warp my alt in whos got a ship scanner helping me determine a possible ransom should all go well. Screenie 1 Tech II fitting, two armor pump rigs. Nice nice. Just as I looked at his equipment I get a convo. "How much." After thinking for a brief moment, both suprised that he convos me with like 99% armor left and the fact I never ransomed a HAC before nor have I any idea what a T2 fitted one is worth. "75mill" I say "59" he replies Then a crow warps in, I know instanly he isnt with the zealot and his got friends in the system, without even hesitating I give him my answer. "Ok... fast the crow isnt with me" Screenie 2 After a few seconds my wallet blinks and I check and see that I got it all. I turn off the scram and my nos so he can easely warp out, and put my dampners on the crow hindering him from tackling both me and the zealot. Zealot warps out. I make the stuipid choise of making sure my alt gets out first (dont really ask me why). When I alt tab back and just about to hit warp with my main, in warps a dominix an abaddon and a hawk. I put my damps on the abaddon since he was in scram range. But I was to slow with warping the hawk tackles me, and within a few seconds Im in my pod. I warp to station, alt tab back to my alt, whos now in 50% structure as I managed to warp him to a belt, to late I press warp again and he goes boom. Fortunatley it was just a T1 frig. All in all much fun, and my best ransom and most exciting one so far . Im glad the zealot didnt get tackled cause that would make me feel uneasy keeping the money, and I think both him and I made good decisions sorting out the ransom so fast.
