Uh ya I have Iskies. I tried to buy skills from the npc market, at the right station in the right system. Instead of giving me the goods it just puts a buy order up.

I had the same problem. I tried to buy a shuttle in Citadel, first by placing an instant buy order for 9000 isk (same price as most NPC shuttles are. It popped up in the buy orders view as expired. Tried again, this time scrolling through the list to find my station and buying with right click "buy now", same result, expired buy order for 9000 isk. Went afk for a few minutes in frustration and when I came back, one of them was there. So I dont know if its just database lag or something, but there definatly seems to be a problem.

1. Make sure the item you're trying to purchase is actually there. If someone nabs all the units of that item before you actually send the command to buy, then you'd have set up a buy order.
2. To ensure you do actually buy the item, open up the market info on the skill you want (you know, with all the detailed stuff about buyers and sellers). Organize the sellers by range and right-click the one marked under "Station" and select buy. Doing sure ensures Eve knows exactly which order you want.
3. Don't open up advanced... that's for dem der traders doing dem der open orders, I reckon.

Market has an hicup.
If you clicked the 'buy' button you bought it. Don't buy the stuff again!! You will only end up with multiple items and less isk. Just wait.

Did you check your wallet to see if the transaction actually went through? If it did it'll show up in your transactions.
Also, try quitting and logging back in and see if the item you purchased is there.

Sorry this is an alt char, been playing for 4 years. 30 minute wait for npc market anything is stupid. In no way should it put up a buy order.
Using the advanced screen is the best way to buy stuff.

No, that doesn't help.
I had same problem once. I bought the stuff: nothing showed up in the logs for a good while, nothing at the stations, just nothing. Then I bought it again, same. I bought it again...  Then after a while 3 items showed up and of course I was billed 3 times. It was just a HUGE delay and lag on everything, transaction logs included.

The forge region here..
Market loads.. if I click to buy 1 shuttle nothing happens. My wallet doesn't show anything my ship hangar doesn't show the shuttle.. re logging didn't fix it.
I got the same thing when I tried it with a second account.

Actually the market seem to have some bugs..lots of expired orders appearing/dissapearing..multiple of same stuff etc. Then it works again on item and it shows others suddenly with lots of ¦new orders¦ expired.

yeah having same problem.. at least in jita i'm getting messages that the market isn't ready or the items take 10+ mins to appear after buying.
Looks like something went BOOM or someone forgot to feed the hamsters
