ok i don't really know if this has been discussed by now (i am a little lazy to get down and search the whole forum - as it's HUGE). BUT > i hate little pirate corps that declare war on any corporation that is out there, and after that they stay hidden and run.
This is what happened to me : I was sitting in Kisogo with one mining barge, testing some numbers. I needed a friendly environment as i was doing lots of calculations and no time to repell any pirate attacks. So I went there, jettisoned one unit of ore and started mining. After some time i see one guy comming and moving everything in my can to his can. Ok i am not interested in that ore i just wanna see the figures. I looked inside to see how much i had and left the can there, continued to mine. After that same guy (or another ? ) came in a thorax, flashing red, and i figured that if i didn't took from his can, he won't be able to destroy me. In conclusion, he destroyed my barge, with no Concord rushing to help whatsoever ( CCP says i took from his can, but, i doubt this is the case). Cam with one of my corp members, in a Raven, took out his shields and left him alone. Next day, they declared war on us. Alrighty, everyone in the pvp suits, ready to fight. We go, we lose a Raven t1 fitted, they lose a Megathron t2 fitted.
Now (with so many wars on them because they declared war to 3 corps), they are just running, hiding, staying in frigates and mwding around. And that's not in some low-sec. That's in a 1.0 , Kisogo. They only came after us ONCE, after that they only stayed in Kisogo.
So here's an idea. Prevent 1 month old corporations from declaring war. It's useless when you have to deal with a noob corp that will take advantage of defenseless members and won't put up a proper fight.
Prevent wars from being fought in 0.9-1.0 systems. Those are rookie systems.
And in a war don't let them run and hide forever. If they don't fight withing one week , concord should abbolish the war automaticly.
You are free to criticize and to post other ideas about this here. For one, i am very frustrated with these kiddies where only one player is experienced enough and he won't fight, the rest are just going from gate to station , station to gate thinking that they are playing with us. It's not about us not being able to fight the war, it's about them running like chickens after declaring war. It's hilarious.
