Eve needs a casino.

Brom	Posted - 2004.02.02 06:59:00 - [1] I'll get right to it. I want to throw the bones. Make Yulai a red light district. It's nice and easy to get to, is a major travel hub, and it's safe. Strip all the asteroids out of it, put in some arenas with automated wagering tools, add in some casino stations with slots, dice, roulette, etc, and heck, you could even work out a card game interface (I loved the card game in Might and Magic) for Eve players. It'd be easy enough to code up a wagering system with npc dealers, or let players set up their own casinos with special high-priced casino office spaces that are subject to imperial taxation just like the real thing is :) I'd rather this just be in one system, though. A big crowd would be a plus when your running races and wagering, plus it's just more fun.

Some peaple cant stop and I bet CCP knows this, and thus this isnt a feature. edit some peaple would stop playing the game it self and would most likely just stay docked playing in the casino to get more virtual ISK, doesnt make any sense imo. *Spawn of the Devil*

Might as well create some original games of chance, if you want to go into the RP aspect of EVE, most of human history was lost after the EVE disaster. Therefore, familiar games of chance would be relatively unknown. Why not games like Sabaac (I know it's SW, but you have the general idea). Since thats the only place Caldari could possibly setup one. Make it all text. Make it simple and no flash. Make holoreels avaible also. Where there are player submitions, derived from player websites. Have casino agents. People will get bounty kill mission on players. You get a book mark where the player is.
