Edited by: Jazz Bo on 02/02/2004 09:17:41 I would like to bring to your attention that Nicholas Marshal, the former director of Incom, now member of the Coalition Navy, is a corp thief.
One month ago he left Incom without a word to anyone, taking almost all of our corp funds with him. When we questioned him, he had this to say:
"Nothing has been stolen. As Director, co-founder and majority shareholder of Incom, I withdrew funds totalling ?? million (this was not all the funds contained within the account). These funds are to be utilised in a top secret investment initiative; a scheme that involves other persons within the FIX/Khanid region. Secrecy of the exact details was a condition of participation.
The money will be returned, with a very handsome interest/bonus payment added to the total. As majority shareholder of Incom, why would I pursue any other course of action ?
I have merely joined the Coalition Navy in order to fight the marauding pirates in the FIX region."
Yes, that sounds believable, doesn't it? Obviously nothing has been heard from him nor the money since, and has not replied to my messages.
Now our patience is at an end, and I have only one thing to say to you Nicholas: "KOS".
PS: I would like to add that he is also an Enemy of the Eve Community. After the theft when we asked him what he thought he was doing, he deleted a 100+ page "Eve Online" thread at the forums we frequented. That thread was a great source of information, and more than two dozen people (myself included) had joined Eve because of it.

yes he is a thief and he's been a thief as long as i remember seeing him.
he used to be in 4c-b7x (outer ring) several months ago stealing npc loot from ppl farming. he also made money there because of the bounty bug that existed back then by just being there in a noobship.
i think i've got his corpse sitting in one of my hangars -------------------------------------------

The opening post should point out that I was founder and still am majority shareholder of Incom.
I will refrain from answering these allegations any further, as I do not believe that such spurious, slanderous and outright fictional attacks should be discussed at forum level.

It's not slanderous, it's potentially libellous (in an EVE RP kinda way ).
However, the allegations have been published and should be refuted in this thread, if you don't want your wider reputation in EVE to be tarnished.

Interesting.....
Firstly proof please in the form of a screenshot showing that these funds were withdrawn and what was left....
Next if these allegations are true, then it goes to show that some CEO's are incredibly arrogant. Yes he may have founded the corp, yes he may be the majority shareholder (not that shares work anyway), but why in Eve should he think that corp assets are his. If he feels he has this right to take all this ISK discuss it with your members and see what they think.
No wonder Rat corps are prospering, with 'honest' players being ripped off by corps left right and chelsea!
It is about time we had some naming and shaming of legitimate corps that abuse their members!

Could you please tell me how it's possible for you to be a "majority shareholder" in Incom, when you are no longer even a member of said corporation?
Unless you are referring to you alt Isla, who is indeed still a member, but only so you can deposit the Isk you taken straight into the corp wallet, instead of having to send it to one of us.
Since you haven't logged on as Isla in the past weeks, you probably haven't noticed that we stripped her of her powers as a director. So you can't hire yourself back anymore.
It seems we HAVE to discuss this matter here since you have failed to answer me in-game.

If that is absolutely necessary, I will. (for obvious reasons I didn't want to do that)
But that is a direct quote I posted (except I deleted the amount stolen), in which he admits he took the money, although he doesn't think the "stole" it.

It's also interesting that although he never fails to mention that he is the "co-founder" of Incom, he didn't bother telling the other founder, our then CEO (resigned two days ago) that he was leaving the corp and taking that money.
Nicholas is a nice, considerate chap, isn't he?

Corporate Thieves always have an excuse, but their actions speak louder then their explanations. Theft is theft, no matter what the circumstances. Just add another scum to you KOS list and spread the word. Before you know it, they will get what they deserve. This guy wonĘt even defend himself. He must know that he did wrong. Founder or not, if he had any honor and he wanted out, he should have discussed it before his departure/theft.
If I was you guys, I would make sure that he didnĘt plant any other alts in your corp. with director access. If he was able to grant access and accept applications, he might have planted a mole to steal again. Review all members and access for your own protection.
The truth will set you free

Thanks for reminding me.
I know all three of Nicholas' characters (he uses them all to post in the forums, sometimes using all three in the same thread ), but who knows, he may have another account.
Yesterday I noticed there was a member whom I had never seen online, and whose application had been approved my none other than Nicholas.

Thank you Nicholas.
I might add that Ranandor was originally a pirate, created and used for one purpose only: to harass miners in the Reblier system so that there would be more Jaspet and Kernite left for dear old Nicholas.
Can you say "Coalition Navy", Nicholas? How about "Pirate Alt"? Good, now how about... "hypocrisy"?

My interpretation of slander is that the accusation had to be untrue.
As a former corp mate of Nicholas Marshall I can vouch for his theft. I can't work out his childish logic for believing that he deserved the isk anyway. He hardly contributed to the fund when he was a corp member. He would also snatch any items left for communal use.
If everyone played Eve in the same spirit as you Nicholas, what would be the point? |

The fact that Nicolas Marshal is or isnt a director doesn't make it right to take assets without the other directors aproving this.
Infact they claim now that his decision to take isk or items was not justified. The "KOS" is not for nothing then. __________________________

Not only INCOM, but that of all the corps that he has attacked using his pirate alt: Ranandor.
He also deleted a 100 page thread used by many many as a valuable resource on another site, that had tempted at least 20 people (including myself), to join Eve. When we asked him why he would stole the isk and deleted the thread, he told us he was 'role playing away'.

Oh dear oh dear, you see the saddest thing here is not the theft of a poxy 20 mill, but since then Incom (the corp he took the isk from and left) have drifted apart. Many inside Incom including myself see his action as the main catalyst for the break up of Incom as a group - that's the saddest part.
Luckily those Incom that still want to play EVE and try to get some form or retribution are uniting under the M.Corp banner where we will make it our sole ambition to get that 20M back, either as a direct donation from Nicholas, or in the form of his battleship scrap metal parts.
What do you say Nich?

They do a 'Reader Review' feature every so often and Eve has had at least 3 of those whereas most games just get 1.
