I'd like 2 create a frigate battle event on a sunday. The main idea is creating two even-sized frigate groups and attack each other at some quite celestial object (like the sun).
Can u peeps give any feed-back on this?
Like rules. 2 pod or not 2 pod. cruise-missiles etc.

not the sun cause its laggy there :)
your best buck is a midspace bookmark.
and notify CCP ahead, so they can lower the server stress and give the node more power for u
or however u explain it :)

Good idear... just ask a few corps with BS to watch the gates...any non frigate trying to enter gets ****ed.... simple

I like the mid-space bookmark idea 
The two group leaders will be provided with a mid-space bookmark about 100km away from each other. Then the group members can warp in to the leader. Then the attack can begin
About the bs's camping the gates: An sich a good idea, but only if ccp makes it clear to everyone that the system in which the battle will commence will be closed to all non-frig ships by means of an internal message. And I don't think they will do so. If any polaris/dev or gm reads this pls reply and tell us what is possible :).
If the first battle will be good we could even make it a regular event.

Date and time of the frig battle event will be announced as soon as I have enough feedback to organize it well. Best bet for the event I can think of right now is 22nd of february at 20.00 gmt. As stated above here, this isn't official but a wild guess. Pls give me all the feedback U can think of. This way the battle will be better and better organized . So guys, c'mon  share all your thoughts with me here

Dirtball thinks that one time only frigate battle not so fun. Dirtball wants weekly frigate tournaments with a season ending championship, like motorsports.

If ccp dont send a message out (whitch ppl will probaly not read)..a few bs garding a gate can ez web a ship and "ask" it nicely to leave...

K guys. february 29th at 20.30 at Eram. (almost peek of the week ) We will gather there and be divided into 2 camps. The leaders of both camps will create gangs and warp to a designated bookmark. Then we will attack each other . LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!
If u like 2 join pls say so and all ideas are welcome.
PS: If this works out well we will make it a 2 weekly event together with the march  . 1 week march. next week battle etc. etc.

you cant close down the system ._.
Better make the BS station at each of the 2 100km book marks anyone that would try to warp to thos would be blow by the bs + if you just give the book marks to the persons involved no one else should be able to find you.

I'm still up for it, and I'm going to try and see if any other members of my corp. are interested.
I would like to stress no podding (some of us spent a lot on implants) and no Tech2 ships. Light missiles/drones only to keep things simple.
I don't think it's worth fitting out a ship with your best gear 'cos it's very likely you're going to lose it. I'm just turning up for the fun of it.
What to do with the dropped cargo? Might as well make it a free for all, as it's going to be very hard to lay claim to your own gear.
