It would be nice and IMO could be be useful if they put Flight chatter as an option to turn on or off. Just as they have with Airplane traffic, they could have it in this game.
You could potentially, hear Concord officers chatting/reporting in. Othere ships could be heard requesting permission for docking. You could deliver news on this channel?
Just seems so logical to have this since everyone's mostly flying anyways.

Kinda like Freelancer. I liked that, added a lot to the atmosphere of the game (unfortunately, thats all the game had going for it...).

Earth and beyond had a thing like this.. thier news (net7) was being broadcasted near the net7 station and near news outposts.. so instead of reading the news, there was short audio clips played.. i loved it

I love it. Sometimes I catch a bit of it in one of the songs. But this is soo needed. It only makes sence. A wonderful option indeed and may just be enough for me to forget the many blunders.

That was one of the coolest features of Freelancer.
You would fly by a station and a station would challenge a freighter near by and the freighter would reply just passing by on the way too -->insert name.
Basically every NPC in freelancer seemed to have a mission and a chatter to other ships related to that mission. While its not at all realistic to let you eaves drop on the chatter it does add alot to the sense of enviornment.

Hehe Could you imagine the silly things you'd hear concord saying? I mean.. what DO you talk about when you've been swarming around a jumpgate for the past 7 months straight.
