I remember the armageddon being a nice ship. Yesterday I got myself a geddon again and tried to fit. To my disapoitment, the ship sucks! It has way too litle CPU!
Here's my current setup:
7x dual heavy pulse II [Scorch/Conflag] Heavy Electrochemical Cap Booster [800] Langour Drive Disruptor Fleeting Warp Scrambler Large Armor Repairer II 3x N-Type Active Hardener 2x Heat Sink II 2x 1600mm Rolled Tungsten Armor Plates
Considering I hav loads of free PG, this setup sucks. Why can't I have omni tank? Because I got no CPU. Why Can't I have Megapulse? Because I got no CPU. Why can't I fit something (nos?) in the last slot? Because I've got no CPU.
Amarr ships, generally speaking, are not very good at pvp, with some exceptions of corse, but the Armageddon was always a good pvp ship. I think it diserves somewhere between 25 to 50 more CPU. There's no point having so much Powergride if it's almost impossible to use it effectively.
If in the mean time, anyone could give me some advice as to how to improve this setup, I'd apreciate.

I had a virtually identical setup on my Armageddon, the only difference being I had a DCU II instead of the second 1600mm plate.
I never really noticed any problems with fitting, though, unless I was trying to fit beams.
Practically speaking though, I much prefer the Abbadon. The only thing you need to worry about in that ship is your cap, and CCC rigs make that less of a problem these days.

So you want 7 heavy pulse's IIs, 2 1600 plates, large armor rep, large cap booster, 3 armor resists, 2 dmg mods, a scrambler and a web. Whats so bad about that? You got good dmg, you got good hp buffer, you got a cap boosters and 2 dmg bonues along with 3 hardeners. Mate I dont see the problem.
Maybe think about downgrading your active tanks to passive to save yourself a bit of cap.

With a dual heavy pulse II setup. You end up with alot of spare/unused powergrid (around 6k). There's an Energy weapons rig "Algid Energy Administrations unit". The rig reduces the cpu need of turrets while increasing the powergrid requirements. For a rig, it's dirt cheap and frees up some much needed cpu.
Check this http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=568862 thread. If the changes on test server make it to tranquility, you'll get another 35 cpu on the Arma.

I used a close-range set-up awhile that was something like:
7x (named) Mega Pulse
1x 100mn MWD 1x Webber (X5?) 1x Medium Cap Booster
1x Acco LAR 3x N-type passive hardners (therm, exp, kin) 3x HS II (might have been 2) 1x CPR
It did really good damage and it was set-up for close range fleet fitting (hence no scram), cap was a problem but the charges helped alot (I was using 400 as I didn't have 800 atm)...got around 50-60% res on everything and 14-15 k armour, died in exactly 30 secs when it got primaried though ;) But it was a blast to fly...

Lows:
2 x 1600mm Rolled Tungsten 2 x EANM II 1 x Damage Control II 3 x HS II
Rigs:
3 x Trimark Armor Pump

I don't recommend solo pvp in Armageddon. I would only put megapulse + plate setup with scorch on.
If you have to though, because you are skilled max Amarr...
Highs 7x DHP II (You keep conflag, amarr navy xray, and scorch in cargohold) 1x Heavy Dim Nos
Mids 100mn MWD II Warp Disruptor II (24km range!) Heavy Capacitor Booster II (800 charges)
Lows LAR II 1600mm RT Plate EANM II 'Refuge' ANP Pseudoelectron Damage Control 2x HS II 1x Co-Proc II
Drone Bay 3x Berserker SW-900 (Heavy Web Drones) 5x Valkyrie IIs
Fit is extremely tight. On SISI Armageddon is getting +35 CPU IIRC so you can switch the ANP to EANM II next patch.

Geddon is getting +35 CPU in the next patch, but to still really max it out you should invest in -3% turret CPU use and +3% CPU implants, they're about 5m and 15m respectively. With the CPU buff, it'll be possible to fit a full rack of MP II on a plated injected remote-rep gang setup with implants. Can't wait
As for your setup, fit either plates or repper, not both. If you're fitting plates, just use a DC+EANM and go for max HP. If you're using a repper, you want to max resists to improve its efficiency. Mixing the two is almost never a good idea. You should also use a T2 injector, same CPU use but enough room for a 5th 800.

Thanks for the suggestion, i might just do that, the ship is already expansive because of the ammo, might aswell make it even more...

The large remote repairer won't fit, without it, you have 3 cpu left in that setup.

-5% Turret CPU Usage Internal Force Field Array Post-Patch (Dont think this is necessary)
