Hello,
This may seem like a silly question, but I'm having problems loading ammo. Do you keep the ammo in your cargo hold or is there something eles you have to do.
I bought 125m railgun and bought different types of hybrid charge ammo and place it in my cargo hold. When I go to attack I get a message saying no ammo loaded.

Two ways to load ammo into your guns. On the Fitting screen for your ship, look at the guns you have mounted, you will see a red circle with a white - in it. This indicates that no ammo is loaded. What you would want to do is take some of your small hybrid ammo and drag it to that circle to load it.
Second way is while in space, right click on your gun on your UI circle at the bottom of the screen. There you can load any of the legal ammos you have into the gun. A reload option appears when your gun is not full and you have reserves of the same type. You can also drag ammo over to an empty gun or ammo of the same type to a non-full gun to load it.

You're doing it right so far, the cargo hold is the place for ammo. Next step is to right click your weapon and choose the ammo you want to load, and you will be ready to unleash damage at the foe of your choice in ten seconds or so.

Yes you keep it in your cargo hold, but you also have to load it into the guns. Right click on your weapons in your HUD at the bottom of the screen and you can load/reload whatever ammo you are carrying.

Ctrl-R is a quick way to reload too.
