Can someone on these forums please give me a setup for a mammoth transporting stuff through 0.0.
What i am thinking of is:
1x 200mm autocannon (too shortrange?)
1x improved cloak
2x med shield extender
2x invulerability field
1x medium MWD (i have lousy MWD skills, so it will kill my cap, is an AB better?)
2x WCS
2x i-stab
Would that work? all suggestions are welcome.

Suggestions:
- Smartbomb instead of autocannon, you can't target very fast
- Lose the invul field and MWD, and put two ECM or sensor dampeners on.. you'll get a (small) extra chance to escape

an MWD will simply make it that much easier for the attacker to kill you (sig radius explosion). if you intend to use this as a blockade runner, then your lows are fine, but instead of the invul and mwd use more extenders/passive hardeners. if you have WCSs, you wont need to jam the tackler. because that means you aggro and cant jump through on the next gate.

An industrial with 2 WCS + cloak isn't going to be locking anything this century, so the smartbomb is indeed better over the AC.
With that said, you'd probably be better off fitting ECM bursts in instead of the normal ecm/damps, as those require locking. You could also fit a cloak in that high.
I see there's a cloak already mention, I guess the cloak is useful already in that it was hidden :P

the idea behind MWD and cloak is, if i land in a bubble, i hit MWD, as soon as autocloak deactivates, i hit the cloak, and ue the momentum to get out of the bubble.
would that work?
i could replace the second invuln with an ECM burst, but its range is short, and i'm not sure the enemy would be iin its range, plus ECM burst kills cap.

It would work,however a Good gatecamp will easily decloak you(if they have dictor + ceptors), i suggest 2 extenders,2 bursts and a mwd,perhaps switch i-stabs to overdrives

Wait, that fits? I'm not in-game at the moment but I remember the Mammoth not being able to fit a MWD without Engineering 5 and lows filled with MAPCs. Was a while ago though. |

Its only a 1mn MWD, not a cruiser sized 10mn version.

what i used is really just the simple but the best. On your low put in nanos. Reason for this is to align for warp faster. the rest doesn't really matter. I wasn't really prepared for hauling in 0.0. and my first time i was hunted by 2 Hac and they really couldn't catch me cause i keeped aligning and didn't give them any time to warp scramble me. when your catch in a bubble, it really means the end for you. The only solution is to have a scout, or to give in to the camper's demand (which never happeneds in 0.0). you can fit a small tank in your med, but you really don't need it most of the time if your just going from gate to gate.
