Finfleet has and always be the POS gods in my book. You wanna show your enemies how to properly fight a POS war, enlist the boys from Finfleet. The only time these guys were ever beat was becasue of server instability.
I never thought I would say it, but since these guys joined em, good luck BoB, Finfleet was the most logical addition to your ranks.
This war is gonna be even longer than I imagined now. Can you say "attrition" anybody???

I'm surprised you want to dredge this up in public given how much time we spend reposting BoB quotes from that time to mock your abject failure, but since you raise the issue, we never lost our space in Syndicate. You guys came along, blobbed S-U for a couple of weeks and then got bored and left, as we predicted you would, which is why we went to empire and had fun with freshly rolled VCBee alts during that time. Then we returned to Syndicate and lived there happily for a while before choosing freely to unite with RA.

FinFleet were the best corp in LV and the only one who gave GS a fight right to the end. In fact I re-call posts on the GS forums giving them props at the time.
Easy to forget though.

Finfleet has and always be the POS gods in my book. You wanna show your enemies how to properly fight a POS war, enlist the boys from Finfleet. The only time these guys were ever beat was becasue of server instability.

No, we've been fighting them. There would be 10 or 12 BoB in a POS while we'd fight 60 or so FinFleet guys a while ago. I think they were the main fighting force there.
Unless you mean that they were distracting us from staring at the BoB pilots stuck in their own POS because they would die the moment they left and thats pretty fun.

Whilst joining BoB may be a questionable decision, I don't really 'get' the flaming towards Finfleet... they're a good, competent, solid bunch of PvPvers which any alliance would be glad to have.

I'm sad. It doesn't change anything as far as gameplay goes, we'll still be shooting them in the same battles regardless, but never thought of Finfleet being as gigantic douches as the rest of BoB, so I can't really see the point of lowering to their level and willingly joining them.
Anyway, BoB will definitely lose out on THEIR K/D RATIOS. Like half the battleships killed by GF in a battle in 9-9 a few days ago were Finfleet, and hence didn't show up on BoB killboard. ;)

A lot of vets fly in Finfleet that know BoB pilots from earlier times.
Finfleets integration into BoB is not surprising and a natural step.

The fact some BoB wont be on is the fact its British summertime (finally) BoB have lives outside of EvE, arent fat lonely people and can wear revealing clothes in the hot weather, unlike most of GS who are 500lbs and have to stay in because of the heat.

The fact some BoB wont be on is the fact its British summertime (finally) BoB have lives outside of EvE, arent fat lonely people and can wear revealing clothes in the hot weather, unlike most of GS who are 500lbs and have to stay in because of the heat.
BoB is clearly superior. No general not wearing one has won a battle since the speedo was introduced.
BoB are infact not ordinary spaceship nerds. They are built out of parts of lesser nerds. This is what every bob and bobess looks like straigth off the assembly lane.

Great pathos for me to see Finfleet join BOB. I would say the polarization of south 0.0 killed LV off. RA followed the dictum of more is good and hey lets get bucket loads of more to take out LV. It worked, good business. Klezz wanted Finfleet to be the last corp to leave LV to try and salvage something. But it was not to be.
Myself though i sticked around in Stain and had some great fun against the likes of IAC and Stain Alliance i threw a hissy fit against Finfleet's rather dry atmousphere to start my own small corp which followed my ebil heart to the co-alition. Tbh we suck at the moment but TCF endure my total smut in chat channels
I wish Finfleet would have stayed independent. But you cant do that nowadays unless you get popped into Jove space lol. In BOB they get the respect they deserve and i shall drive them mad with my inane babble in local chat when we meet in battle in the not to distant future.

I would say this has been a great move by BoB that actually increased their average quality greatly... not such a great move by finfleet though. Finfleet was the best corp of LV and fought until the very end while Shinra packed up all their alliance assets an went elsewhere. Currently Finfleet is doing the majority of the fighting for BoB while many of the other corps/pilots pull away from the front lines.
