If you are their legal owner, then obviously it is your decision as to whether or not you wish to set them loose. But I genuinely do believe that they will better off in the structured environment provided by the Amarrian Empire, whether they realise it or not.
Indeed, Ashe, I would like to send an invitation to work in the Empire to you as well. I'm sure we will be able to find a suitable and gratifying role for you on a plantation somewhere.

**News from the SPCS**
As my esteemed colleague Rodj has mentioned the work of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Slaves (SPCS), I think it only right - as that voluntary and charitable organisations founder - to state my views on this matter, as unwelcome as they may prove to be.
In the first instance I must express my disappointment at the distasteful elimination of 500 'adopted manual workers.' This is a tragic and most unwelcome turn of events.
However, I do understand the deep provocation and resentment that led to this grim action. My point being that no party is blame free and we must all examine the role we had to play in this depressing incident.
The facts are that the Ammarrian Empire has seen fit to enlighten the lesser races and has enlisted them in its attempts to further the cause of humanity.
This has always been the case. The Empire and humanity has thrived as a result of this. So it was and so it will always be. No amount of protestation or rebellion will change this. The ignoble efforts of Minmatar terrorists are in vain.
However, loyal Amarrians have a duty and responsibility to ensure the adoptees in their care are treated well and encouraged along the path of enlightenment. The SPCS frowns upon the abuse of these people and is doing all it can to address the problem despite meagre funds.
As ever, donations towards our important work are always welcome and can be forwarded to myself.

Ashe, if the slaves you have been talking about are the ones you procured from Nightfang, then I must insist that you return them to the proper authorities, as it seems that he did indeed come to own them through illegal means.

Hmm it would seem the moral argument is getting a grey line here.
I shall get back to you onthis as things develop.
As for the Slaves, they are under my protection at the moment, and until they decide otherwise, they shall remain so.

Jim our workers are clothed, fed, and given shelter, for over a year now they have been happy in there work.
Once the attacking party arrived the slaves started to attack amarrian staff members, and rioting followed as they headed for the waiting cruiser, we had no choice but to execute the remaining slaves.
I make no excuse for my actions, I would do it again in the blink of an eye, any terrorist acts will be avenged.

AIC have reviewed this incident and found that AIC did sustain some losses
2 loyal slaver hounds were killed during the incident,the slaver hound handler is deeply upset at the loss of his loyal hounds and has been hostpitalised for shock.
AIC staff have made a collection for 2 new slaver hound pups to be given to the handler on his release from the hostpital.

Jeepers, these enslaving amarr remind me of another fanatical group that I studied about while in Patar...from 20th century Earth...started a real big war I believe...ya they were all a bunch of super freaks as well.
It takes a "special" type of individual to be an amarr...
To answer your comment, we Amarr are a Race of people all our own, just like you, not all Amarr families practice slave-trading, not all could even afford to. We're a proud race just like the Minmatar. Your comment about it taking a "special" kind of individual to be an Amarr was ridiculous. We're born what we are same as you or anyone else. The only thing you know about us is that "some" Amarr practice slave-trading. Do you know anything else about us? About our culture? Did you know how far back our civilization goes? Did they teach you that at Patar, Mr. Binary? Or how about us being the first to make warp travel work. That's something that all races benefit from now. I understand your antagonism against those you feel have enslaved your kind, but perhaps, your teachers only taught you what "they" wanted you to know about Amarrians back at Patar.

Y'know, it's funny... If we were truly terrorists, surely CONCORD would allow honest, law abiding Amarr citizens to fire on Oracle. Ergo, in the eyes of CONCORD, Minmatar freedom fighters are not terrorists. The fact that we can get away with destroying Imperial slave shipping unassailed is down to the institutional incompetence or hubris of the Imperial navy.
The only reason PIE can fire on Oracle and pose an occasional minor inconvenience now and then is that we declared war on them. Effectively, we're letting the Empire's best try and stop us doing what we do, and they're failing. We raid convoys in Amarr systems every day, freeing hundreds, if not thousands of enslaved Minmatar.
What do PIE do? They have the opportunity to hunt us down and stop us, by our own sufferance, and instead they choose to camp their happy clappy, god-bothering CVA fleet in places like Teonusude, in case they get a chance to gank one of us on the way through. Either that, or they swarm over to Klingt to camp empty TPFM stations.
All the while, we're raiding convoys and doing what they're supposed to be preventing. Sure, PIE can't be everywhere. They can't be everywhere because they're all in Teonusude, shouting at noobs. Come on, guys. Make an effort. This war's getting boring. Try and stop us before we decide to revoke your ability to stop us.

Over the weekend, there was no shortage of PFOM and Freelance ship on operations both in Amarrian and Minmatar space. PIE and the other CVA corporations engaged these ships, and inflicted serious damage upon them. I didn't see many Oracle ships, though.

Very well, I shall not bore you with religious poisy as you so deem to call it. No; "You shall burn in Hell fire"; or anything like that.
I shall put it to you in plain and simple fact.
The Ammarian empire has adopted into it's care two thirds of your people, who are being well trained in the ways of true enlightenment. No different from what those we liberated from hersay had done so before. The Nunkinni (spelling?) appriciate what we have bough to them and the now appriciate the full productive natures of being Amarian citizens. The same shall happen to to the Minmatar adoptee's in our care, it's a matter of fact.
And I so do despise the word slave. Adoptee's, children, those we shepard, but oh please not so base as slaves please.
