I actually enjoyed those quoted Tortun comments immensely, so thank you! A nice mixture of memetic humour, traditional EVE-O wisdom, and...er...smack. But a little smack never hurt anyone (badly), right?

Ok, responding to the argument you made:
As I had stated before, I don't believe your analogy here is appropriate - when renting an apartment, you pay money to use a structure that is completed and then used by you as-is, with the exception of maintenance. Software and MMOs especially are evolving entities and claiming that a MMO is "incomplete" is a simple truth, because no MMO would survive without offering additional features to keep people playing.
I disagreed with the assessment that the game is unplayable, and while CCP claims that "massive fleet battles" are possible, it's a slippery slope to define what massive means in this context. I don't think CCP intended for 1000 people to be involved in a single battle because they're fully aware that their hardware is incapable of gracefully handling it. All the other arguments you made I addressed earlier or later in the thread. Anything else I can help you with?

The best part is that he often embeds smack and flames within the same post as a logical argument, making it difficult to discern. Only true forum masters have this capability.

What in the name of Jove are you two doing??? I didn't start this thread so you two lovers can get in on in here! I actually want a legitimate answer from some CCP staff on this, and you guys are just scaring them away! Holy crap, I've never been embarrassed about a thread I've started, but you guys are making me cringe!
The both of you simply care way too much about what other people think. There. I said it.
That being said, as the OP I'm asking any passing mod to lock this thread, pick it up with the manure shovel, and toss it on the fire with the rest of the forum crap that guys like this turn good threads into.
