Yea not sure if this is where to post but...
Got a problem with fraps not working in EVE. Works for any other game i play on this system. I've poked and prodded... then followed the instructions to where to poke and prod. But still nothing.
Anybody know a solution to this
No Overlay numbers come up. Doesn't even record or take screen snaps. 
Anyone?

interesting. i have also Fraps and it is working fine.
Do you use the newest version of fraps? Maybe try a re-install of fraps.

I also had a problem with Fraps on Eve ....i had to get the lattest version and then i had some other program running on the backgroud (GPU Temp program) that would make Fraps not work.
So check your version, i have 2.7.2/Build 5533 working fine here, if that doesnŠt work try stoping all non-essencial programs running in the background.

AMD X2 6000+ dual core with 4 gigs of ram ......no problem here

Intel 2.9Mhz with 512 mg of RAM ....some slowdown on the game when i start recording but nothing that makes the game unplayable

AMD X2-3800+ with 3GB RAM and 2x GeForce 7800GTX. Absolutly no problem.

YAY! I'm frapsing again! 
thanks guys, a system monitor prog in the background must of been screwing it round cause after i closed it, it started working.

I'm not experiencing any dramatic fps drops because of fraps, but I am getting a strange studder in the video files that isnt present in the game when recording..
Could it be because im running in windowed mode?

Looks like the problem is only when the recording takes places, maybe defrag the Hard-drive, or if you have low system memory it could be that the system is making memory on the hard-drive (accessing the swap file).
Try to make the recording out of Eve and Windows hard-disk, say if you have Eve and Windows in C: make the recording to D:
