Important Arcadia press release
It has been 3 months now that Arcadia has inhabited northern Syndicate and the Cloud Ring region and has taken care for its security and stability on a daily basis. We have managed to repel several criminal corporations that were using the region as their hunting grounds and have made the area a safer place to be. We have also found alot of new friends who have been fighting along with us to defend the space we call our home. There have been easy times and hard times, but we succeeded in protecting the region against any threat that occurred.
However, our successful efforts have also lead to an increasing player activity in the Cloud Ring region and to an uncontrolled extraction of high ores, so that the region's natural reserves are now almost exhausted. Also, it has become more and more difficult for the Arcadia navy to control and secure the area and to distinguish honorable pilots from criminals.
So now we see it as a logical step to establish a claim that legitimates our authority to further ensure the protection of the region and the preservation of its natural resources. With immediate effect, the area enclosed by the Cloud Ring region and the Syndicate systems from ASJ-8X to BMNV-P is subject to restricted access. All pilots that are not authorized to reside within this area are asked to avoid these systems. Anyone travelling through this area without authorization will be contacted by Arcadia patrols and escorted to a jump gate out of Arcadia controlled space.
We ask any corporation that still resides in Arcadia space to contact our diplomats to discuss their case or to visit our alliance website. For urgent cases please visit our ingame public channel and ask for a responsible person.

Mwuhahahaha, I remember that! We had to go comeplete a merc contract on a certain corp. So we head in with 3 BB's and about 10 kestrels and drop into the belt they are mining at. There were 5 BS there. Being the idiots we are we decide to engage anyway.
Upon entering the belt, most of the BS warp away leaving one poor guy who tries to run with 2 x mwd's (before the nerf, so he moved like a cheetah). Luckily the uber-pvp god Othnark caught him in his bb with 2 x mwd on and held the bugger in place for us to come over with our 10 kessies and kill him (think it was an apoc or an armageddon).
After that we stay around waiting for the rest of them to put on their pvp suits and come back out to fight.
They wouldn't budge, even when everyone else went back to empire and it was just me in my kestrel sitting waiting for them
Maybe they are better now though!
errr good luck with the new alliance, I imagine someone will be paying us to gank errr, I mean liberate the area, at some point.

Edited by: Judicator on 03/02/2004 13:42:19 Industrials and shuttles do indeed hinder my way and block my view of space, seeing as how they are pretty much always inferior to me I might as well kill them too, provided they belong to Arcadia.
The Apoc kill was a sweet deal, who said mercenary stuff never pays off?
Aside from that I am sure both Industrials and shuttels are mere spies and the industrials are surely escaping with my stuff!. -------------------------

Well lets face it, if you venture into the area claimed by Arcadia in an industrial or shuttles they'll kill you, so I might as well kill them no? It's all fair ain't it, at least I have given them due warning. -------------------------

Up to this announcement Arcadia had claimed nothing.
The only indy killings i have seen in the Cloud Ring are were committed by occassional COW ,M0o incursions TLBC (before they were disbanded) and Geeklab (ORS) kestrel raids.

True and up untill now I have not harmed a singel Arcadia member aside from that payed hit that caused the loss of an Apoc.
Today I am officially given notice that I cannot respect their claim and thus will if the need arise kill any ship belonging to arcadia.
Do I make myself clear? -------------------------

I had... they keep themselves mainly to themselves and off the boards. Publicising their whereabout's is nothing more than painting a massive red target on their heads and asking to be ganked.
Wonder who is going to save them when the m0omachine rolls over them.

If I don't remember wrong there was a note by Sutty in a thread saying that Evol fought them a long time ago and Evol respected the resistance they put up, but I could of course be wrong (can't find the thread need search function for the forums )
Please go ahead and confirm Evolution. |

As I recall many of us that were in Carebears On Weed attacked both Outer Ring Alliance and Arcadia Alliance and we usually never found any resistance when we went to Arcadias home, ORS on the other hand used to fight well after they had multiple our numbers.
Note that we usually only went in small groups of 2-6.
Just funny to see what will happen in we went there as a group for the sole purpose of crushing them instead of just 1-2 hour fun Spawn of the Devil

We fought Arcadia over some resources we wanted to mine.
They fought well, and put up a decent resistance, in the beginning.
They did not adapt well to constant pressure however, and after bout a week of pressure they started just docking/logging whenever we were around.
They have mass logoff down to a science too, I remember a fleet of theres that was like 30 ships or more, logging off, on cue. Was kinda funny.
That being said they do have a few decent pvp'ers imho, although, it remains an unanswered question as to if they have adapted to castor tactics, which are a tad different then the old lag the jip everyone used in the past. Evolution..... Just when you thought you were winning.

So how many ships do you reckon we'll get before they give up?

I'm speaking for myself on this and I must say you are right. m0o have my everlasting respect for fighting an alliance 10 times their size and actually coming out on top.
You're in one of the top fighting corps ingame, virtually unmatched and most of you are nice guys to talk to. Kudos! -------------------------------------------------

And yes I and most if not all in m0o respect many pilots in FA because of their abilities to adapt and fight back, but it always takes few smackers to destroy respect for an alliance. Spawn of the Devil

(burnt nearly whole bb cap and the battery, just on mwd trying to get in range to get the other webifier down on it...)
