Was scouring low sec with a corpie the other night looking for a bit of action, and spotted a megathron on scanner. We soon narrowed it down and found it sitting inside the shields of a POS unmanned.
After scouting out the POS, we noticed the defenses were not set to lock on sight. Alright we though, a free Mega for us. Except for some reason we were unable to warp inside the shields to bump it out. We tried varying methods and different warp in objects to achieve our goal, all with no success.
Is it no longer possible to get inside the shields without the PW, or was I forgetting something. It's been awhile since I tried this form of theft.

Bumping ships was labeled as an exploit by CCP, so you have just admited to trying an exploit :P
Luckily CCP fixed this bug and it is no longer possible to warp into a pos shield unless you either have the password or are part of the owning corporation.

This is a dev trap sig. It has beer in it. Lets see how many we can catch :)

In the past if you parked your ship to close to the actual shield,
people were able to board your ship from outside the bubble.
Was that an exploit as well or crappy game mechanics?
