In the first day of the war both corps deploy for a decisive victory that in the end results in the loss of Navy Megathron belonging to E.M.P. Industries. While only one in a large amount of losses in this first engagement it was decidedly the most infuential.
Results of the fightshow that RCLAN suffered the loss of a Dominix and a Myrmidon while their opponent was utterly decimated. The remaints of the E.M.P fleet scattered and fled where they could.
With 17 ships in the E.M.P armada facing 9 from RCLAN the outcome was uncertain until the forces collapsed on each other. It was quickly clear that superior battlefield coherence in the RCLAN fleet was a deciding factor in the utter collapse of the E.M.P fleet.
We can only guess at the turmoil and anguish the owner of the Navy Mega and his corp mates suffer at this hour

WTF? Shield tanked Brutix? Navy Comet.. ouch. LaZors T1 fitted Myrm? WCS on the Domi?! Small rails on the myrm. 125's at that. Medium shield boosters on a Vexor... Oh, AND WTF IS UP WITH THAT NAVY MEGA FIT?!
Some of the other fits were ok..
Jeeze. Good fight I guess... obviously they have no idea how to fit their ships, let alone PVP.

Edited by: port22 on 13/08/2007 01:45:26 Great fight. Full props to EMP for and having the balls to engage us.
There were some wierd ship setups in their fleet. This does however not take anything away from the fact a Navy Mega was downed and the kill ratio speaks for itself.
This is how we roll.

Wow ... all i can say is wow. If they had good fits, you all would have been dead. That is the sad part.
PS: Someone should tell them that you need to actually fit the Warp Disruptor on the ship, so it can be activated on the target instead of being put in the cargo hold.

Energized membranes on nos-domi ? Smartbomb in high-sec on nos-domi ? Medium Diminishing nos on nos-myrm ? Medium Armor Repairer I when you could fit a t1 named or t2 ? Cloak on myrm ?
What can I say ... there's always one to point out flaws.

Those 2 kills were during the main engagement, not earlier on in the day. 17 v 9. If I do the math that means they had 8 more ships than us, 1 short of twice our force. They also had 4 Battleships to our two.
However you spin it, its a victory. And regardless of ship setups, we downed a navy mega. One of many ive been personally involved in taking down.
And in defence of some of the 'newer' players setups on our side, so they cant use t2 gear yet... the smartbomb and cloak is wtf tho. I will be having a word over that.

Edited by: Setana Manoro on 13/08/2007 07:42:14 Edited by: Setana Manoro on 13/08/2007 07:41:05 I'm not spinning anything as I have no interest in this. I am simply pointing out that your winning was a direct result of their incredibly bad setups, and that if they had fitted their ships well, you would have lost, as you said "they had almost double the numbers". I am also saying that those 2 ships you guys lost, didn't have all that good setups fitted.
I don't understand what is the problem with these statements. They are not imputations, it was not said in an agressive tone. Congrats on the kills though.
PS: When in gang, tell them to fit more guns than nos. Nos takes time to work, while guns do instant damage. Also, from some experience i had so far, a logistics guy or 1 remote repp on each ship is ... divine.

Finding these people was a lucky twist of fate.
They actually operate in a low-sec chain right next to us and that is were we were going for them.
They set up a high sec gate camp most likelt since my corp has several with bad sec (including me). When we had to move the engagement to high sec we excuded a couple from the engagement.
The corp has 181 members and also have capital ships. We were going for cheap fittings on this op since frankly the losses were expected to be higher. Even though their fittings were crap, that doesn`t matter all that much as long as you have enough of them.
A couple of their BS and BCs got away as we did not have the capacity pin down everyone.
I`m going to let this thread drop now and rather come back if something new and interesting comes up. We`re also war deccing their friends.

as was stated before emp is mostly a industrial and trading company, they dont do pvp, and when they do only a small fraction of them fight, so of course they dont have much exp when it comes to pvp, only on being preyed upon by other more serious pvpers

Hmm, Well the truth is yes they are a mining/industrial company and NO they don't really have that many members. Also they DO NOT have Cap ships; lmao!!! This corp has been struggling just to build itself up with nothing but greifer corp's. harrasing them by wardeccing them every other week or so. One would think if they build ships and mods and are basing in low sec that you would want to have an alliance with them so you can buy goods from them lol!!! If you see they have sucky setups help them out to make the next fight more CHALLENGING!!
IAC will rule all!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. How do you all think ISS started?

So what your saying is a corp with 182 members does infact not have many members. Your logic is infact flawed or they have a shi**load of alts/trial members. The odds of this are 50/50 i guess.
And yes we have seen one of their members with a carrier.
As to your comments on ISS, if I remember rightly, privateers brought them to their knees, nuff said.
PS. I dislike Forum Natzis who snip things such as an innocent link to a killboard.

Edited by: DeathUntoYou on 16/08/2007 17:23:18 Edited by: DeathUntoYou on 16/08/2007 17:21:21 btw, I've been spying on this noobish corp for quite a while, I even have a spy alt in it. They acutally have 2 POSs, one at Amoen VI moon 2 and the other at Amoen VI moon 3. The one at moon 2 contains their mobile research labs. You guys need to hire out a merc corp with access to some dreads if you want to take those stations down. That would spell the end of this pathetic noobish corp. They're a pest to the VV/Placid regions tbh. I hope you annihilate them. Btw the membership is 180, but I rarely see more than about 25 online at any one time. I think theres a lot of noobs who joined the corp during their trial period, and then never took out a paid subscription to the game. EMP just never bothered removing a lot of them from the corp. However, most of the members are quite young, most starting their employment histories in 2007. Regulottus is the current CEO and probably the oldest char in the corp. Hes the one flying the thanatos.

Well now. Please undock for once. You've had 4:1 odds in your favor and haven't undocked. Did you just get a faction kill and a couple of others and then say: "We got a faction kill on the first day, and that's all that matters. Now let's celebrate and dock up!"? Come on. Stop trying to look awesome when you NEVER engage people looking for a fight. All RCLAN does is play the dock dock games. I seriously wonder if you just go out and say in corp chat: "Ok, I ganked this frig, now let's dock up."
RCLAN's theme song: (sung to 3 different sections of "Baby Got Back")
I like to dock and I cannot lie, my other corpmates can't deny: When war targets jump in and they scan for me it makes me wanna dock up fast! Cause you know we see you comin' we're just gonna take off runnin'. And my Corporation Don't Want none unless you dock up, hon'!

Edited by: Miss Fitz on 25/08/2007 11:34:16 Congrats RCL, was it you guys who brought in REPO industires with its dreads/carrier/bs fleet to take down the Uber-Carebearish EMP industries POS in Amoen last night? If so well done, the less carebear corps in this game the better. Or at least make life hard as hell for them. They're lost nearly half their members since you guys declared war on them. Keep it up and total victory will be yours!
