I have heard several stories about corps being robbed from the inside out and then the hard work of several people has all become undone. This is not something that should be taken lightly. It will turn people away from the game and it will imbalance the game. I think that it is a bit naieve to think that a player run economy can in fact be governed by a community that has all good intentions. The few that destroy the works of many simply should not be allowed to do so. I have several suggestions that will allow corps to better sa***uard their assets. First it should be possible to set a minimum amount per transaction for which more than one person should be giving a consent. Also it should have a cap on the number of transactions a person can do in a certain period after that it needs to be co-written by another person. It would still make bad things possible but it will reduce the occurence greatly. Another suggestion would be to make all transaction visible to all members. Whenever a transaction is done it should be visible to all players. If something out of the ordinary happens a block transaction should be made possible. Again a minimum amount or minimum number of transactions should be set by the corp owner(s) for this to be possible for an ordinary corpmember.
Taking money from a corp is easy now if you have the right access. However trusting someone is still a matter of chance. Reducing the types of misbehaviour a character can get away with will make this a better game. In the real world when someone goes and leaves with the money it is rather difficult to do so. Transactions always need to be confirmed and they always leave a paper trail. I know that this trail can be followed by CCP but it still takes quite some time and effort to do so. By reducing the possibility of this happening the tedious work of shifting through logs and people is also reduced. My conclusion is that there are always people out there that are not social but are in fact dead brained criminals that have no sense of what impact their actions have or they plainly do not care in the least.
These are my thoughts about this matter.

I am sure this is an important issue to be addressed, but why not post it here: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=5205
We dont need a bunch of seaperate threads, no matter how important it might be...
On the topic at hand, I feel it is the CEO's responsibility to handle this issue, but CCP's responsibility to provide more/better tools for corp management...

If you give someone access to money, you take a chance. And if that someone takes the cash and runs, you trusted the wrong person. That's not something you can blaim CCP for. The new auditing tool is a good thing IMO.

New build (1070) has some great new features which are going to cut this stuff down *a lot* (much tighter on corp security features) ...

Our corp was taken for a ride, but the newer features help end that. I can only quote fox mulder: Trust No One.
and good luck! ---------------------------------------
