Got nice eve-mails of the vid as well, very sportive (the peepz that got blown up)!
We even encountered 2 that came to kick our buts, cause they saw the movie.
It was a (big) coincedence that I was just the cyno bait of another op and had 2 carriers + fleet standing by....

Just a quick general question though, how do you fraps at such high resolutions? I've just recently started using fraps and have been trying to get it to record at 1600x900 but it records it at half size despite being set to full in the options?

You'll need the latest version of fraps, and have a duo core, else you won't be able to fraps above a sertain screen resolution at full screen.

Who cares what you did in the video, the quality was just stunning!
I'm a sucker for HD and this video is simply amazing quality wise, i really hope people pick something up from it and starts using HQ fraps and good encoders.
Now if only EVE TV guys could see this and tell the camera men to fraps in this resolution and release some shiny vids of the tournament... not stream it, just upload it somewhere :)

I usually also use 1920 x ... resolution, as many computers cant use the extra pixels for the higher rez vids. I have however tried making some in 2560x1600, and i constantly find myself trying to hit the Eve interface buttons, as the vids are very immersing due to very little quality loss.
I was wondering... Since u seem into video and such, why dont u use the *standard* HD resolution of 1920x1080 (instead of 1920x1072) for your videos?

Very sweet video. Top quality is so sexy.
I suggest playing the top quality version with the latest version of Windows Media Player. The playback is MUCH smoother than that of VLC or MPC.
I'm on a low spec laptop and it plays flawlessly with WMP whereas is lags in MPC & VLC
