Today Lord Evangelian turns 1 year old. I would like to take this chances to thank CCP for letting me be part of this fantastic game. It has been a year that I have made new friends (LEAPC, UCC, Plus many others I made through you guys). I have also lost a few (Osgil, Kwon, Dosani and many more).
There are a few moments I will never forget. Like the my first PVP experience. I had just started playing the game and I was hanging about in the DED Space Areas in duripant (Red Moon), when I notice a can. It had a shiney new gun that would make my velator do a little more damage. I decided to take it then next thing I know some ass in an incursus warps in and scrams me and I go pop. I float back to the station in my pod and woo a new velator. I was over the moon, I was a little worried I would have to buy a new one. I then undock to find a band of 6 Velators taking on the guy in the inc...they all went pop Very fast lol. Man that was fun. Thank you Setana Manoro, with out you I would not have trained for a real frig (Back then you started with 30 000sp and gallent frig level 1 with mining 1 and a few other level 1s) that drove my blood first for combat.
Another great time was when I got my first Megathron, (many more I would loose until I was able to fit them properly). I was 2 months old and as most new players you want a big ship to PWN. you dont think about lock speed, tanking, speed or any other things you need to think about while fitting a ship. I jumped into it and just sat there out side station marveling at its size and sexyness. This guy warped in in a mega, also a noob, I convoed him and said we go piwat hunting. So of we went to DECON lol. With not knowing the scanner ever existed or the idea of keeping an eye on local. We skiped belts until we met Yonneh and his crew. Lets just say we went pop REALLY fast. At the time I almost cried. I owed my cus 50M and friends lots of money too (They all loaned me money to buy it)...I had no clue what I was gonna do.
The moment I will remember for all my time in EVE was my first WARDEC. I had formed a corp ODSLE with some guys I met, and we got fairly large (For a noob corp, 6, YES 6 MEMBERS), and we called our selves defender of the noobs, fighting can baiters around duripant. This ruffled a few feathers and ended up us getting war decced by Kittens on Lithium, or KITLIT as we came to know them. They mullered us but with help from M.A.D. they soon lost. ODSLE dispanded and I spend a good month on my own exploring EVE geting to know teh game a little better Thanks Jennas Konma, Codename Spartan and the rest of you guys, with out you I might still be in that inactive corp with no CEO.
Some of my most enjoyable experiences so far. 1 Year in and I still play 12 hours aday, learning new things exploring crazy possibilities. Right now things couldnt be better at LEAPC and UCC are great aswelll. So what comes now in this crazy game...well I'll leave that to your imagination. Untill next year folks...
