Thanks alot guys, you have our respect. (btw about 2 min after the fight ended and u guys left a shadow serpentis rat spawned on the gate and dropped an implant lol).

Any links to battle summaries? If it was the Dark Star gang I ran into on the Costolle gate the other day, it's gotta have been brutal... On that note, I'll be sending an invoice from my drycleaners to Dark Star for the rinsing and starching of one fine set of boxers from when 20+ assorted CS, BS and recons uncloaked around my flashy celestis!

Our gang was roaming around Placid low-sec and Syndicate .0 looking for some pew. We had found a few assorted fights here and there, but nothing great. We consisted of about 5 command ships, a HAC, a recon or two and a couple BS's. We ran into Karnal's gate camp in MHC and managed to snag a Scorpion there before the rest managed to jump out and get on their way back towards Hevrice. We were in hot pursuit, trying to snag one or two of the slow-warping Karnal battleships, so we ended up spread out over about 2 1/2 systems when it seems Karnal decided to turn and fight. Yarrr! Props to that.. was a hectic fight. I got primaried right away and went down before I could get in on much pew.. :( Karnal had about 6 BS and a BC.. not sure what else. Final tally came out to be 4 commands downed on our side (They have a good tank, they just can't stand up to the kind of fire that so many BS's can put out) and the karnal gang wiped out, either warping off or destroyed. We held the field, taking home about 4,000m3 of loot. Salute goes out to Karnal for that fight. Please correct me if my number of losses are slightly off, since not all the people in my gang were in DSLT, although most of 'em were.

Radcjk Caldari Dark Star LTD	Posted - 2007.08.16 15:32:00 - [10] Id posted on another thread, and then liek a dumb ass realized Van' had already thrown one up. Here it is anyway. Roaming around in low sec Placid and Syndicate, a Dark Star LTD gang supported by a small handfull of friends and allies found a Karnal Knowledge gatecamp in MHC-r3, one of several acess points into 0.0 Syndicate from the Placid region. Apparently they had just dropped some form of industrial hauler and a covetor was sitting in the wreck, so they were gaurding their prize while waiting for a hauler of thier own to retrieve it. The Karnal Knowledge gang consisted of Two ravens, two scorpians, two abbadons, a hyperion, a hurricane. Enter the Dark Star + friends gang, fielding two astarte, 1 eos, 1 sliepner, 1 vulture, a cerberus, 1 rapier, a rook and a pair of interceptors. Friends and allies were in an Abbadon, a megathron, a tristan, an oneiros, and at least 1 drake. Jumping into the MHC system Karnal Knowledge lost a scorpion off the bat and perhaps one other ship...I'm not totally sure, I lagged, ended up 45 KMS off the gate, and had to turn back. Most of their gang jumped back into Harroule and proceeded to make speed towards one of their primary solar systems in the region. We persued for several jumps, planning to catch any straggiling battleships that couldn't make warp fast enough with an Astarte, Cerberus, and Onieros. Karnal Knowledge did an excellent job moving for 3 or 4 systems before we caught up to them, and instead of finding fleeing stragglers they had rallied on the Agoze gate in Loes, consolidated their remaining forces, and waited for us. An Astarte jumped in, intent on a strggler, and procceded to tell us over Ventrilo " Thats it, I'm boned... hurry up guys" While fielding superior numbers and tech ships, Dark Star and gang were strung out over two and a half systems, trickiling into the fight in twos and threes at best. By following a well thought fire plan of primary targets and concentrated fire, as well as one **** hot scorpian pilot disabiling 2 to 4 ships at a time, Dark Star suffered losses we did not fully expect given the nature of the chase. The first 4 casualties were the Astarte, our FC's Sliepner, and 2 eos. -In record time- I cant stress how hard our heads spun over well proven and compotent CS pilots getting smoked like that. Eventually the Karnal Knowldge Hurricane and Hyperion escaped, leaving us with a total of 2 scoprians, 2 ravens, and 2 abbadons killed. We held the field, reclaimed our own loot as well as their own, and salvaged what we could. In the end we're probably lucky to break even financially. We also had the best fight we've had in weeks, possably a month or so, and if talking to a member or two of their own is any indication, so did they. Good fight bros. Damn good fight.

I had a Tristan in the system and returned in time for the conclusion of the fight. Thanks for a well fought battle. You guys put up an impressive resistance. Never a threat, but always a thorn in the side.
