Anyone who is interested in taking part in a suicide mission please convo me in game (usually between 21-00 GMT weekdays, sat and sun earlier, so european times) I can tell you this much: Preferably frigates (although if you don't mind losing cruiser, then be my guest). Mission target is in empire space, but not a pirate mission, although borderliners (bountyhunters, parttime pirates and so on) are welcome to come if they feel like it. Medium to good combat skills required, experience not really an issue, because this is what you'll be getting - hopefully. Weapons should be a good mix, oh, and don't bring your implants unless you can replace them. The mission target is in Empire space as I said, and there is a reasonable amount of planning to do, so the earlier we get a crew together the quicker we leave. I think 15-20 people should do the trick. I'm interested mainly in ironing out some good frigate fleet tactics, and seeing what difference superior (hopefully) planning can make in space battles. Ah yes, this will be a PvP mission just so you know - although more along the lines of amateur night out. Hopefully with the limited numbers lag will not be a major issue. Anyway, convo me if interested.....
*oh, and if someone with major PvP battle experience could convo me I would be grateful, have a few open questions that they may or may not be able to answer...thx

Why not make a trip to Rancer? between the Guristas BS's firing horrendous volleys of missles and the LAG, I'm now down one Dominix Well I still have a cruiser left and it's insured, too bad CCP dosn't offer a muti-ship discount
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.

Well, response has been limited so far, so I guess its off at least for the near future. The crux of it was to try and take down a BS group (BS +1 or 2 cruiser) with 10-15 Frigs. I just felt that since I could pinpoint location and also knew that the group tended to camp at least for a few hours, we might have a decent chance of coming up with a strategy to outmanouver them and cause some serious damage. No way you say ? That was precisely the point of the exercise: to constantly update and analyse the shortcomings of each successive mission. Wanted to do this on real server due to the fact that the real thing is always different to the test server. It might set some form of strategic precedent for future battles, and I was kinda hoping it might turn into a long protracted war of David vs Goliath - but like I said, currently on ice until I have a better handle on what Frig combos can work and enough people to execute the plan. Sorry it turned into a waste of time and space.
